I love the Appfolio product
I love the Appfolio product, however, I dislike some of the terminologies. For example, we manage exclusively commercial properties, I would love to have the term "resident" changed to "tenant," as we don't have residents.

"No issues and helpful tool"
What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? What I find the most helpful about AppFolio is that we can go into detail on everything for our properties and tenants. It helps us help them obtain all the info they need before and after they rent.

Letters
Letters tab Should have a search engine. Have to re scroll every time you look for letter. Would be a big help instead of started at the top every single time you look up a letter.

Customer Support Issues
The program itself is great! The customer support is the worst experience I have ever had. They tell you to chat, but the chat function is overwhelmed so it will not even allow me to chat. If you call it is only supposed to be for login issues or other urgent matters. After about 30 minutes on hold, if you choose to call, they ask you to leave a message because no one ever comes on the line to provide support.

Worst Service!!!
Worst Service!!!! After comparing it to Buildium, I should have stayed with Buildium. Customer support is the WORSE. Their chat support is BS, and they take over a week to solve a case/problem. I only switched because I wanted software that supports commercial properties. If you're looking for rental software? Look for a company that has good customer service. I'm open to another software recommendation that can handle commercial and residential rental software. Please leave a comment.
