"Good for the experienced ID"
What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? Functionality is good and provides a very easy bespoke setup for ease of use. Ability to use on multiple devices, integrating easily with these. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? Can take some time to understand full usage and is not fully intuitive to a new user for speed of picking up this as a new tool. The ability to manage sound, timeline and other actions are very visible, and easy to follow. What do you dislike about Adobe ...

"New User Success"
What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? The ability to build my slide deck using different features. For example, I was able to build introductory slides then record a software simulation or video demo. I like that these entities are initially a separate file that I can edit and tweak, then copy into the master project. The ease of including features that make the learning meet Section 508 standards for accessibility. When I published the project, I could generate a PDF that was ...

Recommendations to others considering Adobe Captivate: If you're on a budget, take a look at Camtasia; What problems is Adobe Captivate solving and how is that benefiting you? Definitely my favorite ...

"We use Adobe Captivate to create simulations for our courses."
What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? The HTML5 integration was what I liked most about the latest version of Captivate. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? Captivate does not integrate well with Articulate Studio 13 for iPad output. We had to do a lot of troubleshooting and testing to get it to work well enough for our customers. "Great product for interactive web lessons"
What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? I felt like once I learned some of the keyboard shortcuts, it was very easy to go through and edit videos. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? I felt like certain steps were very tedious, and took a lot longer than should have been necessary (i.e. with the Highlight box and Click box, unless there was a specific feature that I wasn't aware of). I also had some difficulty figuring out the libraries, so I would instead use a lot of ...
