Acorns has to be the worst
Acorns has to be the worst. My account was suddenly closed due to recent activity that violates their policies. Except they can’t tell me what activity... I’ve been doing my normal thing suddenly after I ask them to unlink a bank account that had been closed for 6 years? They close my account without explanation. I opened an acorns account since a…
I opened an acorns account since a friend shared his link. Initially signed up for the family plan before deciding I didn't need it. Tried to switch to a cheaper plan. They wouldn't allow it. Tried to close the account and got an email that the account was closed. A month later I found a new subscription charge on my bank account. These guys are leeches.

This is an amazing tool
This is an amazing tool. User friendly. Makes investing so easy. I can invest money in just 3-5 clicks. I can invest in my kids’ future so easily that it’s almost unbelievable. Acorn bring investment to the finger tips of the average person!

Not worth it
I've tried many automated investing apps that outperform Acorns & charge way less of a subscription fee. Closed my account for this reason, & was still charged the subscription fee the next day. Contacted customer service because I was charged for a month that I won't be using at all & they refused to reimburse me.

Stay Away from Acorns
I closed my account and received funds. Over a four-month period I made absolutely no additional funds over what Acorns charged my bank for service fees, etc. I close acct and withdrew funds on June 8, 2021. However, I discovered Acorns continued to charge a service fee although closed and no funds in the account. Called and only reached a person who could not speak good English in the Phillipines. I could not reach anyone else with Acorns. DO NOT USE.

I'm very upset with Acorns
I'm very upset with Acorns. I have been with them since 2016. I would tell people about Acorns but never really invited anyone. Recently, Acorns was offering $1,000 to invite 5 friends. I got 5 friends signed up and ALL 5 deposited the $5 investment to get started. They only gave me credit for 4 people to avoid investing the $1,000 to my invest account. I think that is pretty shifty. Several customer service reps told me they seen the 5 people and I would get credit. Then, other reps told ...

I'm giving them 1 star because I can't give them fewer stars. They didn't even earn the 1 star I gave them! It's a terrible company with terrible service. They make promises they don't keep. I've pulled my investment from them and I would never recommend acorns to anyone. They are extremely unresponsive.

Love this app
Love this app. I have been able to learn so much about the stock market while saving monies on the side I usually never would. I highly encourage using this app - it has been a life changer for me personally.
