A big mess
I canceled my account last week and found they withdrew from my bank account today my former weekly subscription. When I called to tell them they asked me for my name, address, and credit card number to get a ‘confirmation of my cancellation’. Then proceeded to give me ‘money saving subscriptions’ to buying accounts. I am in total agreement with all of the…
I am in total agreement with all of the other one star customers, open down account with them before checking reviews before looking into the company, my bad. Close the account the next day and this has been two weeks now started with very minimum deposits. Have requested A refund and have had total runaround from the company and have yet to receive my refund, will be seeking arbitration at this point for a mir $30.I believe this company is a scam although can’t prove it at this point will ...

Well if you have your card compromised…
Well if you have your card compromised by a scam and they block your account they take at minimum 5 days to figure out who they have running fraud protection...I think it's Shazam or some BS company. Any way I've been 3 weeks without access of any kind to my money they stranded me in Tillamook Oregon for 2 weeks their customer service is pathetic and I'm going to a normal bank could care less about investing since this f#$%^% happened!!!!!! YES I HATE ACORNS!!!!

Where’s the NO stars option?!
I absolutely detest this company. I mean I know it’s a finance app just like webull & Robinhood, so it’s not like it comes with any real instructions, but this app/company just all-around sucks. Their customer service is non-existent, and you can only communicate with them via email. For any issue you might have there’s always (without fail) some generic response, which will tell you to wait and see if the issue gets resolved in the form of a credit (depending on what the problem was). ...

Their customer service is terrible
Their customer service is terrible. Do they not have the funds to hire the appropriate staff to handle their customer's needs?An example that will cause me to close my account. I transferred $5,500 from a checking account into my Acorns account in early April 2021. Money left and I thought everything was square. Horrible
Horrible, horrible customer service. They can take my money every month, but can't seem to verify my bank account to give them money. E-mailing doesn't work, customer service people are from a different country and can't communicate effectively. I've sent 5 separate documents that they requested and now they are asking that I go to my bank and get verification of a checking account I had over two years ago.

This app is ridiculous
This app is ridiculous. They promote themselves as growing our acorns into oak. It should be more like funding dead trees. Seriously, this place has disappointed me completely. Here is my experience-While having only minimal funds I wanted to start saving for my retirement. The website advertised a minimal deposit of 5.00 would encourage growth of financial savings.
