What does 'Streaming API' mean?
An interface that returns a model's output incrementally as it is produced, rather than waiting for the full response and sending it in one block. Tokens arrive over a persistent connection, so a user starts reading the answer within moments instead of staring at a spinner. It is what makes chat interfaces feel responsive, and it also lets an application cancel a long generation partway through.
