What is Managed OAuth?

What does 'Managed OAuth' mean?

Managed OAuth means the platform runs the sign-in handshake with each third-party application for you: it holds the client registrations, shows the consent screen, exchanges the code, and renews the access token before it expires. It is the part of an integration that looks small and is not. Every application words its scopes differently, expires tokens on a different clock, and breaks in a different way, so a managed implementation usually removes more engineering time than the connector itself.
