What is One?
One calls itself the trust layer for AI agents: a person connects each of their applications once inside their own One account, and an agent then receives a scoped grant rather than the credential. Every action is recorded and the person can withdraw access at any time. The connection runs over OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, credentials are held encrypted and attached on One’s side when a call is made, and builders add a connect button plus two backend routes. One publishes a catalogue of 1,086 or more platforms covering more than 143,000 verified actions, reachable over MCP or a command line from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents that speak the protocol. The knowledge base is open source; the platform itself is a hosted service. One formerly traded as Pica at picaos.com, which now redirects here.
