Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

It's a great platform for meeting, recording and connecting with others on many different levels.
What do you like best? That you can share screens, and chat privately with members during a conference call. What do you dislike? It's confusing to set up a meeting sometimes and for my clients to attend a meeting. I also am unsure about saving a recording, like I just got a message that there was one to save but then it disappeared...is it saved??? What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Having a record of conversations and ...

Zoom
What do you like best? I love how seamless the application is to use on my phone. I enjoyed how easy it was to set up and use when conducting interviews and meetings. What do you dislike? There were a few connection glitches but I would assume that would come with any application that has been used. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I've noticed a lot of businesses have been using Zoom. It seems to the choice as it allows ...

Zoom is great for meetings!
What do you like best? I love Zoom for it's webcam and screensharing capabilities. The real time is so quick and we never have any picture quality issues. Zoom really makes team meetings work for us when we are in different locations and are unable to have a regular conference. We save tons on travel. What do you dislike? The only dislike I have with Zoom is the option to only view a few people at a time while watching someone share their screen. I wish there was a capability to watch ...

Great resource!
What do you like best? Zoom is a great resource to use for communication with other employees in different locations. It's helpful to collaborate via video and to share documents. What do you dislike? I have only had a few times where I could not log in right away, but it was quickly resolved and no other problems. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Rather than just picking up the phone, we set up Zoom meetings and come to a ...

Ease of Use
What do you like best? I love the virtual workplace that Zoom offers. I use Zoom for grad school class and group meetings and for work through my university. What do you dislike? I dislike the bandwidth needed for Zoom to function best. Sometimes my at-home Internet connection falls short and causes lagging. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Zoom helps to solve the geographic distance between team members and me. It lowers our ...

Close to being there in person, in the same room around the business table!
What do you like best? The ease with setting up a meeting way ahead of time. Like sending an email to the admitted people at a specific day and hour. For instance, today the meeting I scheduled was for 6:50 PM… I got an email that my two friends were already "in the room" waiting for me. That's incredible! I entered the room after admitting that they be accepted for the meeting, etc. What do you dislike? Still searching to answer that question! What business problems are you solving ...

It's Decently Good
What do you like best? The user interface is pretty easy to use and conventional. Video chat software can only be so different from each other. What do you dislike? Nothing really to dislike besides sometimes invitees have hard time loading Zoom with the links I send. That may not be a Zoom problem though. Recommendations to others considering the product I have experience with BlueJeans as well, and both are similar. Shop around and try to get the best price if your in a position ...
