Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Decent platform for teleconferencing
What do you like best? Easy to log into and connect when sent a calendar appointment. Interaction with others in the meeting is really nice. What do you dislike? Background noise can create hearing issues until you mute everyone except the speaker. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to log into meetings with vendors and customers virtually who you would not otherwise be able to communicate with "face to face".

Our bosses communicate and dictate their instructions with this software
What do you like best? I learned to use this software in my work as many of our bosses are on business trips abroad. In the need that our central offices continue to be active and continue to do activities for our bosses we began to use Zoom, a software that allows you to make high quality video calls and videoconferences with a maximum of 100 members, enough so that all our central office can attend videoconferences of our bosses when they are on business trips abroad. We can also have a ...

Zoom enables cross-team collaboration and increases ease of communication on several levels
What do you like best? I like the flexibility of Zoom for scheduling or sending out immediate meetings. The extension on Chrome makes it so easy for me to set up calendar events. What do you dislike? It seems like Zoom struggles -- although understandably -- with IE browsers. I think more organizations could effectively use Zoom over Skype, WebX, etc. if it was more consistently optimized. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I ...

Quick meeting, let's ZOOM
What do you like best? Zoom is an easy-to-use conference program that provides the ability for video and audio recordings. I use it for meetings and for creating videos for training. One can access it from mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop so it is very flexible. What do you dislike? The free version limits meetings to 40 minutes which is helpful to keep meetings focused but can shut down a good conversation—so, an upgrade is necessary if you require longer meetings. What business ...

Simple but easy.
What do you like best? I like the simplicity of Zoom. It makes virtual communication easy between the organization when we need to do phone calls. I used this with the treasurer of a Boston University office and the users were able to join seamlessly and easily. It is very easy to join and if you do not have visual access, you can call on a cellphone to still get into the chat. What do you dislike? I do not like the amount of bandwidth and internet connection needed to be used. The ...
