Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. What do you dislike? There is nothing that I dislike about Zoom. I do not have any complaints about it. Recommendations to others considering the product If you do not want to show your face live you can put in up a professional photo of yourself. I feel this makes you look more presentable ...

Quick and easy to set up!

What do you like best? Easy to control screen and audio/video etc during meeting. What do you dislike? Sometimes I find screen sharing hard to set up (preview as I can't telly which tab is being shared from my screen - I often go back and forth to check. I'd like to be able to 'preview' what the other attendees can see in my window. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? More frequent meetings / consultations with clients and ...

Smooth interface, reliable experience

What do you like best? I greatly appreciated the easy to use UI and the stable audio (and visual connection. In particular, the automated resizing of the participant's video when screen sharing starts is an excellent feature. Also, the ability to select the contents to be shared between all open documents is very nice. I am currently only using the free account which limits 3 participants to a time of 40min, but in some cases, this time limit can actually be a feature as it forces the ...

Pioneering software in videoconferencing communication.

In the working foundation, I always have to travel to different parts to fulfill my functions as logistic coordinator and programmer of formative sports activities in the neighborhoods for my clients, for this reason I am very rarely in my office, and it is here where this software becomes my fundamental ally to fulfill my work goals. Zoom allows me to videoconference in real time and connect with my bosses when I do sports activities. This software has a powerful ...

A New Way to Conference

What do you like best? I like how Zoom is easy to use. I go back and forth using Skype and Zoom for work conference calls. It's also easy to take your Zoom call-in information and paste it into a new conference meeting invite. It's great also seeing all participants while on the call. What do you dislike? It took time to set up Zoom and get your own number. There were multiple steps involved. Recommendations to others considering the product It's easy to use and doesn't freeze ...

Easier to use, better quality, and more functionality that Skype

What do you like best? Zoom's user-interface is unbeatable. You can go from having zero experience with Zoom to hosting a meeting in less than a few minutes. Installation is extremely simple and quick. Multiple people can chime in during a session, sharing screens and viewing multiple webcams simultaneously. The main screen changes when someone new is talking so you can easily tell who is "holding the microphone" so to speak. What do you dislike? The one downside to Zoom is when ...
