Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom
What do you like best? Zoom is very convenient for me, I love that I can use it on my phone in the car or I can use it on my laptop a home. Additionally it was easy for me to learn how to use it. What do you dislike? Honestly I don't dislike anything about zoom. It's very easy to use and convenient. Recommendations to others considering the product Honestly, when using zoom if it seems "too easy" then thats the answer. It's a very simple product to use. What business problems ...

The BEST
What do you like best? I love that you can set all meetings to auto record and that you can save your chat conversations. All of this makes it really handy in my business as I can record a meeting with a client, capture all the screensharing voice conversation and links posted in chat to send to my client once the meeting is over; this way, if they have any questions, they can refer back to the recording. What do you dislike? I don't like that the free version limits you to 40 minutes ...

The solution for meeting for multiple locations
What do you like best? It is so easy to set up a meeting! I have had last minute requests for attendees that couldn't make a meeting and needed a ZOOM link. It takes seconds and the meeting, which usually has started doesn't miss a beat. What do you dislike? I haven't found anything to dislike yet, I will keep using and possibly I will find something. Recommendations to others considering the product so easy to use! What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

What do you like best? Setting up a mtg and hosting a mtg is very straightforward and streamlines into our calendars seamlessly What do you dislike? cheap on my end-but that the free account is only 40 minutes, but it's understandable for them to make $. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were trying to solve clear connection conferencing with remote contacts. Great replacement for Google Hangouts
What do you like best? We like the ability to see the meeting attendees while sharing the screen. What do you dislike? It requires a download to be able to connect to the meeting. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have had difficulty using Google Hangouts to complete meaningful meetings. Zoom is alot less clunky with the ability to add the meeting info right in your Google Calendar. Admins can also jump in meetings as a ...

Great for Instant meetings, but not great with planned breakout sessions.
What do you like best? I like being able to locate my video, participants, and chat pods on a different monitor than the actual presentation. What do you dislike? I'm not able to create polls on the fly during a meeting. I can't set up the breakout rooms with different materials before my meeting begins. I can not edit out parts that are in the middle of a meeting before posting a recording. Recommendations to others considering the product Zoom offers a lot of virtual training for ...

Easy Video Conferencing
What do you like best? There are few easy/good platforms to do video conferencing, and Zoom is one of them. At first, the user face may look confusing but it's quite intuitive after a few minutes of clicking around. I particularly like how simple it is to set up my own conference. You fill out 5 things, click a button or two, and then you have a link to share with however many people. We use Zoom to do interviews, meetings, and training's. Additionally, with the cloud feature that allows ...
