Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Great for remote workers in startups!
What do you like best? Great clear connection. Far better than Google hangouts. Easy to setup and great integration with Google calendar when creating a meeting. What do you dislike? Sometimes it's tricky to get the initial settings right, e.g. whether host pin is needed or not for a call. Oh and there's one default setting that starts the video as soon as you start the call. It has caught me and a handful of employees completely off guard, as we were just dialing in and didn't plan ...

Zoom is solid and cheap
What do you like best? I like that it works - OK. I find that is not the highest quality but it gets the job done. Sometimes couldn't hear participants clearly. Sometimes garbled video. And there's a lot to be said for that. Good for small businesses. What do you dislike? It's just not the best quality. But that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're looking for a less expensive solution. Recommendations to others considering the product I think it's solid for small business, but ...

Great for large meetings
What do you like best? I really love that you can hold large broadcast meetings to organizations without hastle. What do you dislike? Sometimes the connection can be a bit iffy and the controls are not super intuitive. Recommendations to others considering the product It's great for a lot of users, but I would recommend using a more straightforward software if you are technically challenged. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Zoom
What do you like best? Super fun and easy to use. Get meeting set up and have people signed in hundreds of miles apart What do you dislike? Sometimes doesn't load completely or notify you when everyone is on. No easy to have multiple people on @ 1 time that have never used. Recommendations to others considering the product Create or do a fake meeting to see the kinks first to then create a guide for new users BEFORE any meeting is to take place. Or try and see about muting What ...

Great for quick meetings with little bloatware
What do you like best? This does not have a ton of bells and whistles but that keeps it smaller and more efficient. Similar products have lots of bloatware or variables that smaller teams do not need that slow it down. Zoom does not have all this bloatware so it runs quickly and downloads quickly. it is also usable without downloads which is great for interviewing. What do you dislike? Nothing. This is our preferred method for interviewing What business problems are you solving with ...

Easy to use
What do you like best? I liked how you could have the audio come through the computer speakers. Better than a conference call. What do you dislike? Took a few extra steps to sign in and when first using the program I had to help a couple of my coworkers sign in. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Meetings for trainings. Smooth transitions.

Simple, functional software for meetings and webinars
What do you like best? The ease of use once it is installed! Screen sharing, chatting and asking questions/hand raising, switching between speakers, etc. all benefit my webinars greatly. What do you dislike? The requirement to download the software instead of using a web-based application is a bit frustrating, as someone is always new to it and has a delay while they download and setup Zoom at the start of a meeting! What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Convenient to use!
What do you like best? Zoom allows remote control of team members, call recording, and screen sharing. What do you dislike? None. Everything seems so perfect, no call or video lags Recommendations to others considering the product I would highly recommend business owners, and sales development reps to use Zoom compared to Skype or other apps. Zoom has a lot of cool features like call recording, sharing your entire screen or just your presentation. What business problems are you ...

Zoom is zooming
What do you like best? I love the ease of use and quality. You can see multiple people or mute everyone to only see those necessary. What do you dislike? Sometimes the calls drop out causing unnecessary pauses. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Ease of scheduling multiple people in different places who might not always be able to meet in person.

Difficult to use each time while I think mainly because it has too much tools.
What do you like best? Wechat with everyone on it throughout the world. What do you dislike? Too much tools that weI're not familiar. And the internet always doesn't work well. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Meetings for us all from different locations.
