Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Does the Job

What do you like best? Zoom is incredibly easy to use. Every other virtual meeting medium I’ve used has caused me hassle except for zoom. What I like best is how easy it is to schedule a meeting and invite others to the meeting. In that way, zoom is perfect for professionals. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike about zoom is the occasional freezing of others over zoom meetings, but that is due to poor WiFi connection, not the zoom itself. What business problems are you ...

Border less meetings

What do you like best? It works and participants can join with only one click. No signups or several steps - click and join only! What do you dislike? Default video setting, people who don't know too much don't know it is on or how to turn it off even it is easy. Recommendations to others considering the product Easy set up, for participants it is only one click to join. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Meet with people in ...

Great video platform

What do you like best? I love the ease and use of Zoom. Easy way to target and chat with my audience regardless of the device we use. I have it on my Apple iPhone and computer, whereas others I communicate with use laptops, desktops, other mobile phones and tablets What do you dislike? Not always a concern but lag time in chatting or screens freezing during important discussions isn't great. Really the only issue I've encountered. Recommendations to others considering the product I ...

Great for video conferences

What do you like best? I love how you can just access the link so you don't have to log on everytime. What do you dislike? I don't think I dislike anything. All the features are great; screen-sharing, ability to see everyone as well as minimize screens when you need to see others' screens. Also, the ability to type in a chat while talking. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We used Skype for video conferences before we switched ...

Amazing discovery

What do you like best? The program allows me to have virtual classes and interact with my students in a very motivational way. I can use the board, share documents and even allow them to write and take an active part in the class. I can easily save the chat, the video and the screenshots. What do you dislike? I would like to be able to enlarge the video -window we can see on the side. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can ...

Zoom is okay

What do you like best? The Zoom UI is fairly easy to understand. I also love the fact that Zoom makes the "iPhone one touch" number available, and when I select a zoom video link on my phone it takes me right to the app. What do you dislike? Oftentimes when I send a zoom link for a scheduled meeting, the participants of the meeting end up in a different room than the one I "host" - IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING and also embarrassing to have tech problems as a meeting host. Recommendations to ...

Zoom is our favorite web conference tool.

What do you like best? Easy-to-use, simple Administrator interface, excellent sound and video quality, and a great price. Recording meetings is great for absent attendees, and editing canned demos. Love the Outlook integration tool. What do you dislike? Only one administrator for a Pro account. Recommendations to others considering the product Go with the Pro account. More users and longer time limitations. Record your events for absent attendees and record-keeping. What ...

Great way to virtually meet!

What do you like best? I love how simple Zoom is to use. I have clients and free lancers all over the world and Zoom gives me an easy outlet to make appointments with multiple people at once. What do you dislike? Since there are so many people that can connect, sometimes it’s hard for everyone in the meeting to know who’s on the call. Recommendations to others considering the product I would highly recommend conducting business meetings on Zoom. What business problems are you ...

It's super fast and easy to use, light weight and doesn't hog down your computer, and just works! the connection is stable and reliable unlike some other platforms.
