Are you using Zoom?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Excellent video meeting tool for business
What do you like best? The user interface is my favorite feature. It’s very easy to set up because there are tabs and check boxes for every possible thing/option you can think of (as opposed to embedding everything in a settings menu or making things default. What do you dislike? The user interface could be improved on the webinar screens. I like all the menus (participants tab, chat tab, q&a tab, etc individually but it’s hard to view everything and manage on one screen. You have to ...

Fast Video Chat
What do you like best? I like the simple and fast connection between two users. In my experience, I was able to put into a short code and connect to the other user within a few seconds. The audio was clear and the other person was able to hear me perfectly fine. The first time I used it, it took less than 2 minutes to completely download the program to my computer and video chat with another user. Some programs or applications could take 5-10 minutes minimum just to download. It was very ...

Good Quality Conferencing
What do you like best? We're fairly new to using Zoom and had mostly been using conference calling for meetings. However, with Zoom, I've definitely noticed that those who are remote are much more likely to speak up in meetings. What do you dislike? There's nothing that I truly dislike. There have been struggles at times to get signed in. However, this is most likely user error. Recommendations to others considering the product Do a trial run before your first use to make sure that ...

Refreshing and Simple Competitor to Skype!
What do you like best? I love that Zoom is so user-friendly and as far as I've used it, has no limit to the number of people that can participate in a conference call. Simple interface and users have the ability to be as passive or active as they desire during the call. Users are able to easily share files and screenshare in a much faster way than other competitors such as Skype. What do you dislike? I wish there was a better interface for mobile users; the only issues I've seen with ...

It's Like Being There Without Being There
What do you like best? We use Zoom almost every day. We have remote employees that sit in on Monday morning meetings using Zoom. We have clients outside our immediate market that we conduct meetings with using Zoom. Many of our potential clients also setup Zoom meetings with us to perform preliminary discovery phone calls. Remote employees feel more like a part of the team when they're included in on company meetings. What do you dislike? The only thing that gets a little confusing at ...

Always reliable
What do you like best? I have never had a problem with interference or call failure with Zoom. These things happen all the time with its older and better known competitor. What do you dislike? I really have very few complaints. Even sign in is easy What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I do not have to spend two days to travel intercontinentally for a 1.5 day meeting. I just went to a conference in California from England via Zoom.
