Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

For when you can’t be there in person

What do you like best? Simple, thorough tool to host meetings virtually What do you dislike? Some of the features aren’t intuitive, but are learned relatively quickly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? When someone isn’t able to attend in person (or when I wasn’t able to attend a meeting in person.

Zoom keeps me connected

What do you like best? Zoom allows me to connect with my team at any location and any time. I have a team of four who live in different areas and also have different work hours. Zoom allows us to easily connect once we find a common time. The face to face and voice quality works for our team and we can talk while collaborating on a power point or other project. We have been able to "toggle" back and forth between documents while meeting which has been very useful.. What do you dislike? ...

Always a helpful tool

What do you like best? I work in a team with member who aren't always in the same city as me so this tool is essential for our meetings. The best feature of Zoom is the ability to share your screen with everyone in the meeting. I can make sure that everyone is paying attention and can see the meeting notes or relevant materials. I also like that you can have your video and audio off if you want. I am a big fan of having meetings over Zoom because I tend to get better attendance and have ...

Zoom, solid video chat

What do you like best? Zoom allows users to quickly connect via video chat with a clear picture, screensharing, virtual whiteboard, and breakout groups. What do you dislike? Occasional buffer issues and the picture with pixelate. This seems to be a known issue and had improved in recent months. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I work with a team spread across six offices and zoom creates a way for us to all feel connected when ...

Good, well designed and functional.

What do you like best? I like the best the opportunity to share your screen easily. What do you dislike? I've tryied to find a push-to-talk button to activate the mic when necessary and I didn't find it. You should make a free plan, as the Pipefy and Podio teams make, for junior enterprises! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm a leader of a junior enterprise and we solve lot's of problems meeting online using Zoom. We can ...

Zoom has blessed my men's online bible study

What do you like best? I embody the video conferences that not only allows us to communicate via face time but more importantly use presentations via whiteboard to cover our agenda. What do you dislike? There is an occasional delay in connection when there are multiple parties online. However, the delay only lasts anywhere on average under 10 seconds. Recommendations to others considering the product Don't look anywhere else for video conferencing because Zoom has what you need. ...

Zoom is easy to use and very functional for any business.

What do you like best? Zoom is very simple to learn, use, and implement within a company. It’s very valuable when located in different offices across the country too! What do you dislike? Honestly nothing yet. It’s very functional. The only minor issue I’ve ever encountered is having a limit on number of people able to access a line. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We’ve solved a time zone difference. With offices in ...

The best webinar tool

What do you like best? Zoom's interactive features for live events are user-friendly. I also like the fact that Zoom supports webinars on multiple platforms mobile or desktop and the user has the option to attend via video or audio only. What do you dislike? Zoom does not have a feature that automatically sends webinar attendees the recording after it is over. Recommendations to others considering the product I highly recommend zoom for webinars, online conferences and private ...

Best software so far for international video calls

What do you like best? Relatively easy to use, the call quality is really good compared to others in the market. What do you dislike? The max 40 minute free call is a bit short. Wish it was longer or there was a way to use for longer without charge. I wish it was a bit simpler interface to set up a call with someone. It does not pick up contacts as easily as I would like from my contact list to email the user with the phone number and dial in details. Also would love a conference ...
