Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom is an amazing video conferencing tool for business teams

What do you like best? I love the fact that multiple users can seamlessly join the call without registering the recipients of the call. It is excellent for classrooms, meetings, discussions, etc. What do you dislike? I do not like the fact that there are very less collaborative tools present on Zoom. It's competitors Adobe Connect has many tools such as raising the hand to answer questions, agree button, disagree button, marking tools, pen tools etc. What business problems are you ...

Great Meeting Tool

What do you like best? I am able to meet with people in and outside of my company. Easy access and easy to use. What do you dislike? The only thing I could say is it doesn't look great. When using a tool I look at colors and how up to date the tool looks and this one could use a makeover. Recommendations to others considering the product Pretty good product, just need to update the colors and make it more appealing to the eyes. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Simply great for personal and semi professional meetings

What do you like best? Better quality of audio and good for video chat or meeting. What do you dislike? It should not be 40 mins limit for for users less than five or three. White board should allow standard size characters. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not using for business at this moment

Good sound and screen share quality

What do you like best? The features of raising hand, auto connect and mute on call join and greatly customisable pre call set up of turning off camera right since the beginning. What do you dislike? The sound it makes while someone is muting. I think entry and exit sounds should do fine. Or maybe even that is customisable? Drawing / control of another persons screen found missing. Recommendations to others considering the product It is a great tool to interact for short/long calls ...

Multiple uses

What do you like best? The most interesting thing is the large group meetings that can be done through this app, it is easy to use and when meetings are held I like the option to raise your hand and alert that I am asking for the floor or if it would not be a disaster talking at the same time that would not be understood and to share a screen so that the explanation is clearer and understood better by the other person without needing to have it next to explain what I need to explain What ...

What benefits have you realized? Communicating and hosting trainings from remote areas or with other companies. This ...

Simple setup and easy to use makes this a good choice for Video.

What do you like best? I love the simple setup features of Zoom.tv. It is browser-based and "just works". What do you dislike? Video quality can get grainy or show lag, but this is usually a sign of a poor connection and not the product. Recommendations to others considering the product Use the Test features to establish the best connection BEFORE a video conference or meeting. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Video ...

Great Communication Tool

What do you like best? The ease of use and ability to record meetings. Most of my colleagues are in one location, but Zoom is still a great option for us for large meetings when everyone might not be able to attend. I love being able to record meetings and share them late for anyone who needs a refresh or couldn't attend. What do you dislike? The hardest part about Zoom is the cost, it is not always an affordable option as it gets pricey the more people that you have that need to be ...
