Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom is easy to use and made my meet up experience great.
What do you like best? Ease of entry and that it let me know when the host opened up the meeting. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything that I did not like about Zoom. Recommendations to others considering the product The meeting was easy to enter and the picture quality was clear and so was the sound quality. We had one large meeting with a facilitator and then zoom assigned us to small groups which I thought was great. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Great new tool, could use small improvement
What do you like best? I like that you can set it up easily, record and share screen without having to give explicit access. What do you dislike? The controls are sometimes hard to find and although are movable, they tend to float back up and view additional screen real estate. Recommendations to others considering the product Try it out first to make sure you like the controls. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Zoom is Great!
What do you like best? I love how Zoom offers every user a free 30 minute window to use for any use. Even if you company doesnt use it. It is very light weight, allows you to call in to a central pool. It has great video conferencing, whiteboarding, and screen sharing capabilities. What do you dislike? I wish that everyone and all companies supported it. Your company does have to allow it thru via their external firewalls, but that is all. Recommendations to others considering the ...

I've been using it for a long time, and I've had a lot of benefits.
What do you like best? Zoom is the software we use most in our work when we videoconference with our bosses to make the budget. Zoom offers features that no other similar software can offer. The videoconferencing option offered by this software is quite comprehensive, its HD format does not lose any visual information, and allows you to keep the attention of meetings. I use the administrator option a lot because the videoconferencing rooms that I believe are private because it handles ...

Zoom Is Great
What do you like best? Great all in one conference software. Allows to share screens and show share your desktop with anyone connected to the meeting. What do you dislike? Zoom updates have been kind of finikey when they are first released. You can normally resolve the issue with a call to tech support very quickly. Also coming from a tech stand point, it does not allow us to bypass UAC on windows machines. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

I use this every week for conference calling.
What do you like best? I love how when you use Zoom it automatically knows which screen to go to because it knows who is talking. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike would be that if you are in a conference call you can't request to add someone as a contact. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The problem we are solving is one which allows us to all come together and have a conference via the internet. It is highly ...

Zoom in the Work Place
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to set up a zoom meeting. My work allows people to work from home, but obviously we still need to conduct meetings. The call in option is great and lists a details on how to gain access once the meeting starts. It also allows us to share screens during meetings. For example, we don't have projectors in most rooms, so we use our lap tops and co workers share screens to see what they are wanting to display. What do you dislike? I don't have ...
