Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. Good quality picture, sudden disconnection

What do you like best? The video quality is quite good, and it's more dependable than Skype. Also it has nice functions to share documents or app each other What do you dislike? I got this 'grace' for a 3 person video meeting, meaning I could continue the meeting for longer than 45 minutes. Then Zoom just up and quit the meeting anyway. That was frustrating. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm a private user.

Best Meeting Tool

What do you like best? It's very easy to schedule and invite others to the meeting. Hosting is very easy and easy to record. I was able to record a meeting and share it with others who weren't able to make it. I also like the chat function if someone is having issues using the microphone on their computer. What do you dislike? We have the free version, which only allows up to 40 minutes of meeting time. That is one disadvantage but it's still a good amount of time to have. What ...

Zoom conferencing review

What do you like best? I think the best part is the ease of use. It is easy to use both in web and mobile apps. Also the flexibility it provides in terms of screen sharing and remote control is amazing. It is quite helpful in troubleshooting customer issues on call. What do you dislike? Conference limitations for large audience calls can be problematic sometimes. You have to pre-authorize or open up multiple zoom sessions to cater for that. What business problems are you solving ...

More reliable than other web conferencing products

What do you like best? I like how it is intuitive on the homepage with different icons that I use most regularly and I like the custom options as far as muting participants and muting participants upon entry. More than anything, I like that it doesn't seem to cut out, have any delays like some of the other conference lines I've used. What do you dislike? It would be nice if I can pre-select a few pages that I want to share on my screen. It seems to be entire desktop or just one ...

No Frills - It Just Works

What do you like best? Finally we have a video conferencing tool that just works. It is kind of annoying that video is on by default, but the switch to Zoom from Citrix and even Google Hangouts (which didn’t scale past 30 callers or so was pretty easy. What do you dislike? The fact that video is on by default, and the Zoom app on mobile is a bit confusing to mute yourself with. Recommendations to others considering the product Just do it and move on. It works. No frills. What ...
