Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

What do you like best? Group collaboration functionality may be the best feature in zoom, with this amazing feature we can create group instantly and send text, audio, images to the group members. I would say the video webinar feature is also the best one, as we can interactive with the video participants. We can also record our virtual meeting through mobile devices. What do you dislike? Seamless video conferencing

What do you like best? For in person conference meetings, zoom is great for projecting presentations and the best part is that it is cordless. I'd say for 90%+ of my meetings, starting the zoom is the first thing that we do. My favorite feature is the Share button. If you haven't already added a zoom to the meeting you are in, you can just open Zoom on your laptop, hit Share, and it automatically detects which room you are in and shares your screen to the room. This works ~50% of the ...

Very few problems with this service

What do you like best? Zuma has very few connection problems. We’ve never lost connection, or had trouble establishing a connection, or had severe audio or visual problems during use. What do you dislike? Once in a while the sound quality will be slightly garbled, but it’s never been bad enough that we couldn’t understand each other. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Zoom has allowed us to effectively and efficiently conduct ...

Zoom in a classroom

What do you like best? The host's ability to mute and unmute people. This helps when you have a lot of people on who need to be muted and may forget. What do you dislike? Sometimes the settings will reset when a new person joins the meeting. So you either need to change them multiple times or deal with un-ideal settings until everyone joins. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows students to take a class from off campus ...

Zoom is the best

What do you like best? I love Zoom's quality for video conferencing. I talk to people from all over the world with varying quality of internet connection. Zoom is by far the best. Also, the meeting scheduling feature is amazing. What do you dislike? There is a 40 minute limit for call using the free feature which can be annoying. Otherwise I have to ask our office manager to set up a call and schedule it. That's the only downside. Recommendations to others considering the product ...
