Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Everyone's Using Zoom

What do you like best? Firstly, since everyone I know is using it for online meetings (and they used to use Skype, I've had to switch too. The quality if good, and screen sharing works well. When using chat, when not in a Zoom meeting, it is easy and allows for sending different types of attachments. I also like the ease of setting up new Zoom meetings (there's even a Google Calendar plugin. What do you dislike? I haven't found it possible to re-position or resize video images of ...

It's a new and easy way to have a meeting

What do you like best? It was a good tool with good training manuals and options. I would use it again. This software was easy to use. The audio and video worked well. It was easy to make changes once the conference was set up. What do you dislike? I dislike pricing. The software is great but there are comparable options such as Google Hangouts which have the same functionality. Recommendations to others considering the product: I've only used it many times as we use a different ...

A nice addition to the painful market of online meetings

What do you like best? Online meetings are tough - it seems every tool requires 15 minutes of logistics work to get started. But Zoom is making it better - it's easy to log in, doesn't ask you questions or force you to log in repeatedly, and gets you into a meeting as fast as any tool on the market, which is the most important thing to me. What do you dislike? Zoom still struggles with streaming. About every 4-5 minutes, it will freeze for exactly 5-10 seconds, then speed up really ...

Good, but delays are frequen

What do you like best? The thing I like the best about Zoom is that you can get a lot of people together in one meeting, and then the lead can show everyone the presentation. It can also be recorded for those on able to attend or for those who want to use it for later reference. I also like that it’s easy to login, and it is also easy to navigate. What do you dislike? The only disadvantage to Zoom is that even when you have high-speed internet, like I do, there is still quite a bit of ...

Great product for impromptu meetings

What do you like best? I like how Zoom is easy to install and easy to learn to use. Great for meetings with clients across the world. What do you dislike? I don't care for the limit for the free plan. I do understand it can't always be free. I just wish it was a bit longer than 40 minutes. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need a easy to use video conferencing program that is also easy for clients who are not technical to use, this would be the program to ...
