Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom is the best video conferencing software I've ever used.

What do you like best? It's reliable. I've used other video conferencing software that crashes consistently. I rarely have any issues with Zoom unless I (or someone else has a bad wifi connection. It's not a problem with the software itself. What do you dislike? I don't really have any complaints with the product. Even the free version is adequate. Recommendations to others considering the product: Sign up for the free version and try it out. What problems are you solving with the ...

Great interface and very easy to use

What do you like best? It really is as easy as downloading the app and opening a link. I used to use Skype and since downloading Zoom I have not looked back. I especially like the invite button that is obvious as I will create a meeting quickly and then just add people fast to the meeting by copying invite. What do you dislike? You only get to have a meeting for 40 minutes unless you have a paid account. I think this is just good business marketing. Most people have meetings for 1 ...

It allows me to interview guests for my podcast

What do you like best? It's easy to use and almost everyone has zoom already. As a podcast solution, it is great to know that (1 I can record the video and audio but, most importantly (2 it records participant's audio on separate tracks which is incredibly valuable when editing. What do you dislike? The complicated meeting codes could be easier but it's not a dealbreaker. What I would like improved is connection quality. It seems like zoom uses up too many resources and so my guests ...

I teach FB marketing so I have to be able to jump while recording and it's always a challenge. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easily teach. Easily connect with team members and clients. honestly making the phone obsolete.

Great for Screen Sharing

What do you like best? I use Zoom for the screen sharing capability. I also have Skype and use that frequently (mostly because a lot of people have it and use it but if I ever need to share my screen then I use Zoom. I've had a couple clients and both my developing team and designing team download the software to use when communicating. The UI with Zoom is awesome. It doesn't take up the entire screen until you choose something to do (meeting, share screen, etc. And you're able to ...

Great Confrencing for Large Groups

What do you like best? I love their ease of use for the end user. Also their overall features, such as polling, are great for session interactivity. I also rarely have issues with streaming or audio quality. What do you dislike? At times the room codes and/or dial in numbers can be hard to type. For example, a meeting code was once: 546-456-6545 What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Large group meetings

The best program for video conference and online meetings

What do you like best? So practical prices are really good if this tool is necessary for you, all plans are offering lots of features for a few amounts of money per month. Everybody knows Zoom, nothing really comparable. Highly recommend. Video meetings as easy as it can get. Very good user interface. What do you dislike? When hosting a conference call I do find that sometimes one cannot control the mute buttons of the participants. Whilst it is easy to mute every participant, it is ...
