Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Allowed me to share my computer and get my ideas across to people hundreds of kilometers away

What do you like best? The best part of Zoom is its reliability. It did not freeze up during my presentation. It even allowed me to go over the 40-minute limit for free accounts! Besides that, it is simple to use and has great security features. What do you dislike? Menu is a bit confusing. All I have figured out how to do is use the chat and share my screen. If I wanted to upload a presentation, it will take more effort to figure out. I also had some trouble inviting members and ...

Frequent Zoom User

What do you like best? I like the interface of Zoom. It's quite an easy application to use and is self-explanatory once an account has been opened. What do you dislike? I do not like that I had to download the application onto my computer in order to use it. It has severely slowed down my computer since I've downloaded it and now, I find that I quickly shut down the application whenever I open up a Zoom link through my web browser. Attaching a Zoom link to a calendar invite took me ...

It makes it really easy to zoom someone in to a meeting if they cannot be there. What do you dislike? I dislike that sometimes it glitches. Once it glitches you basically have to end the call and start over. Recommendations to others considering the product: Much easier for the whole party to use What problems are you ...

A good conferencing tool for business application

What do you like best? Annotation, Screen-sharing and conferencing are effective features which are needed in multiple presentations to explaining stuff and at the same time conference with multiple people simultaneously. The booking part of any meeting is also very helpful as it gives out an invite to everyone who will attend. What do you dislike? There are very few points which I dislike about zoom.
