Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. Another useful video tool, though doesn't stand out

What do you like best? It is a video tool. There is not too much to say. But I thought it was nice in terms of design. What do you dislike? I don't like how you have to have the app on your computer, why not log in online? What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Just using it mostly by being invited for an interview or a chat with a company that must favor it.

Beware the installation process

The software works reasonably well, however the installation process is deceitful and fully installs whilst claiming it is just checking it can be installed. There is no way of checking what will be installed as it just happens without permission. http:// groups. google. com/forum/#!topic/munki-discuss/a3-XfvA7wHc [remove spaces to get url] calls is scary and evil. I think they’re right.

Convient and high quality

What do you like best? Zoom is a handy tool to use. It has integration with Outlook and Slack, so it makes initiating a call really easy. The video and audio quality are both good and stable. It also allows calling in with a phone when you don't have audio equipment. What do you dislike? Sometimes the host has to call in first, for other people to join. This is configurable, but the configuration checkbox is not easy to spot, and sometimes our meeting is blocked if the scheduling ...

I use Zoom daily!

What do you like best? Zoom is so easy to use. It allows me to connect with people face-to-face without the hassle or time waste of driving, parking, etc. I love that I can record conversations, share my screen or view the screen of others, and I can pass the host to someone else if I need to leave the video conference. And the one-click link makes it easy for participants who aren't familiar with video conferencing to join. What do you dislike? Nothing. I haven't yet found a need ...
