Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

The best online meeting software for your webinar & meeting needs

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to set up meetings and webinars. We do a lot of both and find that our customers prefer using zoom to meet with us as well. When scheduling, we use the option of scheduling through Outlook and sending our outlook invites through the Zoom website and/or desktop app. What do you dislike? It has been buggy before where our webinar links get crossed over or disappear altogether. To fix this, we had to delete the sequence and recreate it. I ...

Best app to set up meetings online!

What do you like best? What I love most about zoom is its value for money, and that is that in zoom you get an excellent quality service for a very low cost. The connection to the platform is fast and it is very easy to connect because its interface is very nice. I can send an invitation to my listeners, from the platform and with a unique link, the best thing is that I can make all those requirements in a matter of seconds and automatically clicking on the link can be connected ...

Lets Connect

What do you like best? So mostly we use this to interface with doctors that can respond from outside of the hospital. it's great because we don't have to have a doctor in person to medically clear and officially diagnose patients. The best part is that we don't have to slow down our assessments to wait for a doctor to come to the intake department they just log on review the assessment and then call in. What do you dislike? Sometimes the system has a hard time connecting but this ...

A very good tool for video conferences

What do you like best? It's very easy to quickly start a group video call and share screens. Works great on mobile devices too. Connection and broadcast are reliable and consistent. Rarely any drops, unlike Skype, was doing more and more until we quit it. What do you dislike? Although Zoom is great for teleconferencing and has several plugins, I wish it was more of an all-in-one solution, incorporating web hosting, scheduling, messaging, and payments. Recommendations to others ...

Above average

What do you like best? For a comparison with other video conferencing softwares, I have used two others besides Zoom: FaceTime and Skype. Compared to the other two. Zoom is the only software I have used for group video conferencing. Compared to my experiences with FaceTime and Skype, Zoom is much easier to access and utilize than Skype. The only reason that FaceTime might be a simpler solution is because it comes automatically downloaded on my phone. Zoom works great! What do you ...

It works

What do you like best? It’s a great secondary option to GoToMeetings, but I believe it would make a great option for an educational classroom. I like the set up of having a main presenter front focused What do you dislike? There isnt as many options as some other platforms use like GoToMeetings What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using as a secondary resource for team meetings

Zoom to connected

What do you like best? Multi people calling, sharing of documents & media very well, host meetings, easy to connect a call & sharing your screen. What do you dislike? little bit slow, sound quality is not good. Recommendations to others considering the product: Zoom has allowed my team to collaborate throughout the company easily. We can share screens, view content and faces in real time. What Zoom could work on is being more reliable during business hours. What problems are you ...

Very easy to use and reliable

What do you like best? Zoom is great for video conferencing. We use it for all of our onboarding and prospecting calls. It has good video and audio quality, scales well to large groups, and has a lot of plugins that make it easy to use (like Slack and Google calendar What do you dislike? It sometimes has a tendency to log me out at awkward times, and sometimes my headphones randomly disconnect but I don't think that's a problem with Zoom Recommendations to others considering the ...
