Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. great product that lacks some intuitiveness

What do you like best? Awesome for international calls (way better than Go To Meeting Love the option to only share specific windows when screensharing Integrates nicely with other softwares (use Chorus to record; sync to Salesforce via Yesware What do you dislike? I often find people I'm connecting with are confused about where zoom is... they see it downloading in browser and don't realize it has opened in an external app. People also seem to have a really difficult time ...

Zoom is a simple & easy to use Screen Sharing and Conference calling app

What do you like best? Zoom makes it really easy to share your screen as well as give the screen to someone else. The chat feature is also nice in that you can hide it or open it as necessary if someone sends something to the whole group. What do you dislike? I have run into issues with the video conference calling and audio sync which I think is a problem shared by almost all of these types of platforms Recommendations to others considering the product: Zoom is simple to implement ...

Very easy to use

What do you like best? I had never used zoom before, until my financial adviser suggested we used it for a conference call. I really liked how easy it was to use. I was sent an easy link and away I clicked. The sound was very clear, connected without any issues, and we had the option to either face chat or just voice chat. I also liked that I didn't have to download too much software to my computer as opposed to a program like skype (which has it's benefits too! Overall, I was very ...

Zoom Review

What do you like best? Often many clients and/or vendors are familiar with it. What do you dislike? Setting up a call can be a little confusing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We didn't realize at first that with the base account you're only allowed one call at a time. So in our office we had a couple of calls at the same time and one was disconnected during the call when the next one picked up.

A legit competitor to Skype

What do you like best? Seems more stable than Skype, pretty easy to setup a/v-wise, I've never had any connection/bandwidth issues with Zoom like I have with Skype, Discord, or Hangouts, can launch in browser or using a downloadable app, doesn't run in the background after you "close" it like Skype does What do you dislike? Lots of features seem locked behind a paywall, some features like virtual background are pretty useless. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make ...
