Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

What a great tool to help people around the world
What do you like best? I love the simplicity of the system, not matter how techie you are or not. All your client has to do is click on the link that is send to them. What do you dislike? I can't say for now I have anything I dislike about zoom as it meets all my needs currently Recommendations to others considering the product: All the time, and ever get them to change from other programs to zoom What problems are you solving with the product? A better video confrencing app than skype
What do you like best? I use my iPad with zoom so it's nice to be able to easily share my screen with clients. What do you dislike? I don't like the time limits put on free meetings. I know they need to make money, but it would be nicer to have an hour of free time instead of 40 minutes. Recommendations to others considering the product: Definitely try it out. There are features within Zoom that I think are a lot more superior than those of other conferencing solutions. What ...

Works for my needs
What do you like best? Sharing screen Shareable link No need to download It's been good with connections so far What do you dislike? I think it's just that sometimes there are people unfamiliar with it, or they're in scenarios where they need to see our screens, but dial in on their phones to speak with us Recommendations to others considering the product: It's fantastic and easy to use! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We ...

We moved to Zoom from Join.me
What do you like best? I had used join.me for a few years when conducting software sales demonstrations. I had issues where prospects found it hard to work out, and there wasn't many settings I could play with. I trialled a free Zoom account and right away had a smoother connection, as well as less issues at my prospect's end. Convinced the whole company to switch our license across. What do you dislike? It can be annoying how it automatically gets the guest user to download the ...

Easy to use, but can be spotty
What do you like best? You can have a meeting with over 10 people all over the map! What do you dislike? The app switches back and forth between people talking. You can solve this by freezing the screen on one person/frame Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure to let users know to mute themselves when they aren’t speaking! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Zoom allows for my organization of 20+ people to meet ...

Zoom is the tool to use for conferencing these days
What do you like best? Zoom has a lot of clarity in terms of the actual resolution of the screen, but it also has features like screen sharing, window / specific program sharing, and recording. It's intuitive and easy to use. What do you dislike? I can't really think of a downside of using Zoom at this point. There's been a few times when I have had trouble joining a zoom meeting with the sound/volume but not sure that this is Zoom's fault. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Very quick and easy to set up
What do you like best? The most helpful thing about Zoom is the speed in which you can set up a video conference. I have been on the phone to suppliers and been able to suggest a video share and set it up in less than a minute. What do you dislike? There is nothing major that comes to mind, although it would be great for the free conference time limit to be extended slightly! Recommendations to others considering the product: I have used a number of different conferencing tools ...
