Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. Zoom makes virtual companies a reality

What do you like best? Despite my company being spread around the world, we can stay connected and informed using zoom. What do you dislike? I haven’t quite mastered the app yet. Still find it less than intuitive. Recommendations to others considering the product: It has a ton of features that I didn’t know about. Spend some time getting to know the product. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have a number of rooms that we use ...

One of the smoothest video conferencing apps

What do you like best? Zoom's video conferencing solutions is just the smoothest experience out there. Enterprise features like sharing screen while having a conference up to more than 10 (what we have tried concurrent viewers and speakers, and different modes of viewing them just makes life way easier for remote teams collaborating. Also, the linking approach and the concept of rooms makes it easier to create pre allocated calendar events. What do you dislike? There's not much that ...

Great tool for video meetings with lots of great features

What do you like best? The ability to record meetings, change the host of the meet, remote screen control, screen share, the Chrome extension to make Google calendar events into Zoom meetings, and the easy ability to turn microphone audio and video on or off. What do you dislike? If I am not the host of a meeting, I wish I could request to be host in case the host needs to leave but the meeting needs to continue. I also wish I could request to record the meeting instead of the host ...

Go Zoom to share and meet

What do you like best? It works well even in low bandwidth and under vpn. More than 40 people connected simultaneously and still it worked without any glitch. Recording is cool feature and it takes very less space even after hours of recording. What do you dislike? Sometimes, it is difficult to search for zoom exit while in presentation mode. A reminder should be generated for recording as many a times people forget about it thereby requiring re-take, particularly in KT. ...

Easy to get new news to multiple employees

What do you like best? Each manager can conduct individual meetings. What do you dislike? Employees haven't learned the mute feature. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take advantage of the webinars to help you learn the system. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our area managers can each have their own personalized meeting with their teams weekly to go over news, or just get them pumped up and ready for the week ahead.

I use it for meetings

What do you like best? I use this app to meet everyone in a web room from the place where they are, its use is quite simple to make and to enter any room to which you are invited to access the meeting There is no need for everyone in the web room of the meeting to have the app installed because only the link generated in the meeting is passed to the people who are going to enter and with that link they can access without no problem What do you dislike? If you know how to use it well ...
