Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

A software that facilitates the communicational process

What do you like best? Using Zoom in my work is, by far, one of the greatest benefits I have had as a worker since Zoom is a software that allows me to make video calls and videoconferences, with the highest level of security and quality in the transfer of audio and images over the web. I use Zoom daily in my work to communicate with my colleagues in the office through videoconferences and video calls that I can control easily because this software gives me the option of administrator ...

Great for conferencing, easy to use

What do you like best? The chrome extension is very helpful and overall Zoom is much easier to use and seems more reliable than many of its competitors What do you dislike? There really isn't a downside to Zoom that I can think of. I do wish the meeting IDs were customizable but other than that It's worked perfectly for our org. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Conferencing with employees and clients across the country! Huge ...

Video conferencing made easy with the option of recording.

What do you like best? I enjoy the ease of being able to get a group of people from all over to meet at the same time. The option to record is a huge benefit. What do you dislike? Overall, I would say that the app is not user friendly as the desktop version. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Being able to meet even when everyone can not be at the same place as the same time is huge benefit.

Using Zoom for demo conference calls

What do you like best? Love the ease of use and the amount of features available while hosting / being a part of zoom calls. The advanced screen share feature is super helpful when demoing software to potential clients and current clients. What do you dislike? The playback feature of recorded calls sometimes has a drop in audio quality that can be mildly annoying but not a deal breaker. Recommendations to others considering the product: Highly recommend Zoom for any organization / ...

Good but young platform

What do you like best? Love the recording options and the web client, as well as the device to device experience What do you dislike? If someone is sharing, you can’t zoom in (ironic. If they are zoomed in, you cannot adjust up, down, side to side to suit your needs. Other platforms offer this. Recommendations to others considering the product: No “gotchas” to look out for. The company is on the right trajectory and has worked a lot of kinks out. A year ago, it was frustrating, ...

Zoom is must have at a company.

What do you like best? Zoom is a convenient tool that every member of the team can use easily. The network works generally very well, there's no interruptions even with video calls, it allows all the company members to meet and share presentations in a very professional way. I've never had an issue using zoom for a conference call or to present something. What do you dislike? What I hated on the beginning the fact that the camera automatically turns on when you connect to a call ...

Useful Meeting Scheduler

What do you like best? Zoom helps to schedule meetings where you can have conference audio and video calls along with sharing screen. Some other tools which I have used in past, do not perform this well. Here the audio quality stays up to the mark even when sharing screen with the team. You can even record the meetings which is a very nice-to-have feature and very useful at times. What do you dislike? There isn't anything major which I dislike about Zoom. One thing which I miss using ...

Zoom Review

What do you like best? I love zoom! Very user friendly! Can have up to 100 participants at a time! What do you dislike? Back ground noise/volume. Because of the large number of students I have on it at once, it is sometimes hard to hear. Recommendations to others considering the product: Don’t be scared to try it! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Education my distant learning students.

Effective and efficient video conferencing tool.

What do you like best? Zoom works great whenever my team do virtual huddles! The video and audio quality is great. I like how real efficient share screen functionality is. You can also record your meeting which is nice if you want to go through some of the important sections in the meeting. I also use it to record myself with the shares screen feature whenever I need to make a short tutorial for my team mates. What do you dislike? I wish they'd take the 30-minute meeting timer off. ...
