Are you using Zoom?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Free Version Works Great For Our Small Office
What do you like best? My favorite/ found most helpful thing about Zoom is the ability to screenshare for meetings. It allows you to hold meetings and trainings by sharing your screen, and you can switch to another person's and request control of their computer to assist in technical issues. This has served VERY useful and helpful for our office. What do you dislike? My least favorite thing about Zoom is the timeout of a conference call of more than two people with the free version. It ...

Building Community
What do you like best? I am a leader of a growing organization and I love that no matter where my team lives I can see them face to face and really get to know them as people. This has allowed our community to grow closer. What do you dislike? Like most technology there are usually a few bumps with each zoom call, but that brings us closer too: Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are looking for a way to do one-on-ones from home and group meetings face to face ...

It just works
What do you like best? You switch it on and it just works. We rarely have technical issues and dropouts and 99% of the time if there are any problems - its user error not the tech. Switched over from Skype meetings years ago to Zoom and never looked back. What do you dislike? The interface feels a bit boring and corporate. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it - it just works. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We ...

Communication without borders.
What do you like best? I like to zoom because it is a very easy to use application, it is quickly downloaded, the account is opened in a very simple way using Facebook or Gmail accounts and the ID number can be copied and sent by any means of communication or even send it directly from The application by email. What do you dislike? I don't like that its mobile version takes up a lot of space on the cell phone. Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend using ...

Use Google meeting most but good back up is Zoom
What do you like best? I like that it is a secure meeting place. It is helpful to know that it will work with most internet connections. I also like that it integrates with most calendars so you can send invites easily What do you dislike? It is really a better back up to google because google meetings is more user friendly. so difficult to log in. For both you and the event invitee. More than once we have to wait for everyone to come up with a update or download. way easier ...

Cloud meeting app
What do you like best? This app is the best option for cloud meeting which gives a way to connect live people from anywhere in the world. It's easy to set up meetings. Regardless of location and availability, this app helps us to conduct meetings in an efficient way. What do you dislike? Whenever a meeting is initiated on a computer and we join through a smartphone, we don't hear audio properly. I have tried with different phones still the same issue. Recommendations to others ...

It's pretty nice!
What do you like best? I love that you can record your meetings. This is great for when you're trying to share a presentation or trainings with people on your team. It's also good for self reflection. I also love that when you go to screen-sharing mode, you can still see everyone's faces in case someone has a question or looks confused. and I like the mode where you can see everyone's faces at once during the chat. What do you dislike? I don't like that you have to wait for the host ...

Easy and Streamlined conferencing
What do you like best? The ability for anyone to be able to use it, eben without an account. It makes it much easier to talk to customors and users around the world. I also really like the webinar function, it automates everything. What do you dislike? It's quite difficult to link with Youtube and it puts a Zoom watermark on the screen even though we're paying quite a lot for Zoom. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed a way to ...

Great Resource for Remote Workers and Entrepreneurs
What do you like best? The ability to record quick videos for clients after I've created something makes my job super easy and the clients really happy. What do you dislike? I haven't experienced this personally but when I saw a recent webinar that used Zoom, one of the participants did not have great sound quality. This may have been due to her surroundings but they were using Zoom so I'm not quite sure. I wouldn't hold it against Zoom though. What problems are you solving with the ...
