Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom is the best video conferencing platform
What do you like best? Zoom offers the best features. High quality pictures, great audio, easy to use chat box, screen sharing, polls. There is so much to use and it’s so easy and user friendly. What do you dislike? The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t always automatically mute, so you need to do that to avoid background noise. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it out and see what many different features it offers. It may seem like it’s not different ...

Reliable
What do you like best? My boss and our tv shows frequently use zoom to connect us across countries and it works well every time. As long as you have internet you have zoom. We’ve never had a problem with camera or audio after installation. What do you dislike? I guess the interface could be sexier but other than that it checks off all the boxes for my uses. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Seems way easier than everyone having Skype ...

Make video calls with zoom
What do you like best? I think zoom is an incredible tool to create video calls or video conferences, has a simple interface and you just need to share the link of the conference to those involved and ready, has an excellent infrastructure so we have not had problems with the number of users connected, we have reached 20 users without problem. It is extremely useful if you need to make an emergency meeting with your team and you or one of them is not found. You can also share the screen ...

Ease of use
What do you like best? I deal with small groups of students in my practice, it is good to make sure that they get to discuss the subject within themselves. Zoom has allowed me to achieve this without much hustle. Students can learn from each other as I impact knowledge through online teaching. What do you dislike? It would be nice if they offered a ring feature option where a ring appears on the screen once you are invited to join the meeting. This would look more professional than ...

The video quality is of "High Definition" standard which enables user to see and understand clearly, also the sound quality is equally good and one can easily understand what instructor is saying. Its ability to host a platform which enables multiple co-workers to discuss on an issue and then retaining of the ...

Great lightweight video conferencing
What do you like best? Of the solutions we tested Zoom is the most capable of sharing video. What do you dislike? Since adding a paid account there has been no downside. The free version only allows for meetings of 30 minutes with more than 3 participants. This worked for us for some time, but feels like its a good fit for a free application. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need a lightweight, reliable video conferencing software Zoom is worth a look. ...
