Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

LOVE Zoom!!

What do you like best? Zoom solved so many video production problems for me! My very favorite features are: easy of use, ability to set up calendar invites with video conference links, I also love that Zoom does some editing for you when it saves. This has become a great tool for doing video interviews for a variety of reasons - from routine meetings to "breaking news" interviews to share information with our magazine readers. I also like that you can use Zoom to stream meetings LIVE on ...

Zoom is so easy, anyone can do it - and they should!

What do you like best? Zoom has an easy interface, all the features are straightforward and the app is usable across platforms from computer, iPad and phone. My boss and I can share an account and keep each other in the loop by setting meetings and sharing the calendar invites with each other and other individuals across our campus as well as other institutions for meetings, seminars and other events where we need to patch in presenters and guests that cannot attend in person. Anyone can ...

We do have several online chatting/conf tools, however, If I can choose I always use Zoom.

What do you like best? My colleagues and I use several different tools to organize meetings. If I am the one who is organizing I definitely will choose Zoom, bcz of it’s stability, easy-to-use and record function. What do you dislike? When I click the meeting url, I have to open a web page and then be directed to the app, which wastes a bit time, but not too bad. Recommendations to others considering the product: zoom is the best online conf tool. It’s easy to organize ...

Zoom is a great way to communicate through your organization.

What do you like best? I think the most helpful about Zoom is the screen share option. The fact you can share and control your desktop screen is very helpful in understanding what the other user is communicating. I also love the polling! The ability to poll questions across the org is very helpful when retrieving stats. What do you dislike? I dislike some of the branding email portion of Zoom. Some of the email notifications do not allow html/ftl codes. Specifically the meeting ...

Great Service and Easy to Use. Great way to reclaim some of your time.

What do you like best? The ease of both ad-hoc and scheduled meetings makes this an easy choice. I'm a fan of my time and being able to do this from home saves me a lot of travel time. And with recordings, I get a record of what was said and agreed to that you don't typically get in belly-to-belly meetings. What do you dislike? I wish the file sizes for recordings were something we could control, such as the resolution. Some files are too large and with screen sharing, it's not a ...

Quick and quality meetings

What do you like best? the possibility to create a room, and share the link with several people, and decide whether this meeting will be by video or audio. The integration with other services like slack, makes the tool very good to use. Growing the window of whoever is speaking automatically makes it a very nice differential. What do you dislike? There could be a possibility to use the tool entirely web, without needing any extension or program installed on the computer. ...

Fast, limited issues, and user-friendly

What do you like best? The connection seems to always do well even if my internet is poor. What do you dislike? I don't really have anything that I dislike about Zoom. It does what it is supposed to do. Connect people through video. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am able to connect with colleagues all around the world with this tool. I do not have to worry about reliability as the app almost always works. User error is the ...

Easy Video Conferencing Tool

What do you like best? The tool is really easy to use with simple instructions for setting up and starting the call. What do you dislike? Would be nice if the free version would allow a little longer call like 45 minutes. Recommendations to others considering the product: Good tool and easy to use. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to offer free coaching sessions for potential clients.
