Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Very use to use and understand

What do you like best? I liked how easy it was to use zoom. There were a ton of features that made it different than any other video conference software I've used before. For example, with Zoom, when you or someone else speaks, it changes the main camera to be focused on their face / their video camera. Other video conference softwares that I have used did not do that, so I really enjoyed this feature. My company also used Zoom's "Zoom rooms", which were super great. It included a ...

Great Conference Call and Screen Share Tool

What do you like best? The platform is really intuitive, and the integration with Microsoft Outlook is really easy to use. The screen share capabilities rarely give me issues, and i appreciate that there isn't a chime every time someone logs on. What do you dislike? It can be annoying to find all your controls on the screen when you're screen sharing, because the video tends to get in the way. I have to move the video around a few times while I'm navigating. If I was just ...

Good if everyone is new to video conferencing

What do you like best? Tools are easier to use and can link to multiple people. What do you dislike? Not able to run slides within the service with a larger group or the ability to link groups together to make a larger group. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to meet with clients and coworkers from far away.

My Experience Using Zoom

What do you like best? I love the Zoom Room feature - it's nice that I can go into any conference room in my office and have access to Zoom. What do you dislike? It signs me out often and I never remember my passwords. Recommendations to others considering the product: I definitely recommend Zoom over other video platforms. It's great for inner-office communication and other offices. The screen share function is also incredibly useful. What problems are you solving with ...

The most powerful video conference app is also the easiest to use

What do you like best? Meetings are generated with an easy way for anyone to connect in- luddites who want to call in, all the way to conference room setups. It's seriously one click for most people to join, or one click and an "allow." I can have scheduled recurring meetings, I can meet on demand, and I can easily send meeting invites to internal and external users. What do you dislike? During a meeting, the on screen controls are sometimes hard to locate. Especially when using a ...

Zoom makes my life easier.

What do you like best? My favorite part about Zoom, beyond the basic meeting functionality, is the ability to share your screen and do screen recordings. I can do screen recordings with my face in the corner or without and the audio always comes through really well. The chat function also works really well and it helps me coordinate with my team if the video ever cuts out. What do you dislike? I love most of Zoom's functionality but I still think that joining meetings can still be ...
