Don't Be Fooled By the Flashy Tools

I am shocked at the number of rave reviews out there. While there are pros to the product, and I was a lover at first, the cons outweigh this tenfold. Signed up for Zoom Pro Annual…

Signed up for Zoom Pro Annual Subscription last week 22nd April'20 and still only have Basic access 29th April'20 + after repeated attempts to remedy without response and a number of disrupted meetings, I want my money back and I'll be going elsewhere.

I would give it negative 6 stars! Subscribed to Pro on March 24, 2020, got approx 3 weeks of service, then nothing! Got invoiced (and deducted from my CC) on April 25. I have SEVERAL times detailed the problem to their "support" (oxymoron), and no response. I have called twice and twice been promised a call back -- NOTHING. I cannot even access my paid account to cancel per their published directions. My only recourse will be to dispute the charges, although I would like to charge them with ...

Got an error on my billing and no way to get the customer service to contact me back. I'll have to dispute the charge on my credit card with my bank since I received absolutely no follow-up from their billing department. Don't bother the headache.

I paid to upgrade to pro on April 12th and it still hasn't happened even though they took my money [ a whole year's worth as it seemed cheaper]. As with others on this page, absolutely no customer support no matter how many times you write or call. Wish I'd never started this.

Customer support is unacceptable

I you are considering different video conference solutions, choose anything else! On paper, zoom is great, but when it comes to problems, support seems to be virtually nonexistent. They promise to reply within 24 hours, but you may end up waiting for weeks. They simply don‘t care about their customers, no matter, paying or not - just read another customer messages here or on their Facebook page.

Don't expect to EVER get support

We get it, it's a pandemic and virtual meeting usage is up. However, no response to repeated messages left (because the "answering service" are the only people you can get on the phone) is a failure on all levels. We've tried contacting their sales, support, billing, you name it and you can't get any response. I'm very unhappy with Zoom.

I'm very unhappy with Zoom. I am particularly unhappy with their lack of live customer support. I have the pain "pro" membership but when I call for customer service, I am told that my account level is not eligible for phone support. I was directed to use "live chat" on the website where the chat box says, I have 3 people ahead of me. The message never changes and I received no support. I am currently looking for alternative online meeting services and hope to leave Zoom as soon as possible.
