Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. Connect with anyone at any time.
What do you like best? Zoom presents a good image in its interface, it is very easy to connect with customers who are far from my location. Setting up a video call and talking for hours without interruption is something I like about Zoom. There are no quality issues at any time, the audio and microphone volume is acceptable. What do you dislike? The support doesn't solve exactly what I need, if they answer quickly but the information they sent me is not appropriate to solve. ...

Difficult to imagine remote work without it
What do you like best? I am a Learning & Development professional and lead many virtual trainings by Zoom. Aside from regular video conferencing to remain in contact with my international team, I appreciate the polls and breakout rooms, which make training and learning engagement more effective. What do you dislike? I dislike that there are many features (breakout rooms, polls, app integration, etc.) that I need to request access to from my company Zoom administrator. I wish that ...

Easy to use communication software
What do you like best? It is possible to join meetings without having a Zoom account, that makes it easy to use the software. Zoom optimizes the sound in noisy environments. Zoom can diffuse your background, which makes working at home a lot easier. I like the connection to Google calendar to directly invite others. What do you dislike? Often a non licensed person creates the call, which results in a 45 minutes time limits. Also, inviting a person that is online does ...

Easy to setup and use
What do you like best? Cloud Recording and admin console are simple and reliable to use. What do you dislike? Support from Zoom is difficult to get in contact with. We had more luck getting the support we needed from the reseller we purchased Zoom from. I'm assuming the support issue is b/c the COVID 19 flood of support requests. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be sure you have decided how many users need accounts and how much cloud storage you will need. ...

What do you like best? - I like the fact that it can be used on Windows, Mac, and IOS. - I like the integration with Google email so that we can send the link directly to coworkers. What do you dislike? - Time-limit on the free versions are too short for many meetings (Our company has the premium version; however, not everyone has access) - Low bandwidth users tend to suffer greatly even for audio only phone (FaceTime audio works fine with this low bandwidth) ...
