would like better mobile experience

What do you like best? The web version is good. The options are simple and there's no extra features cluttering the tabs or side panels. What do you dislike? I don't like the mobile experience because when I delete an email, the page does not refresh and it stays on the page of the deleted email. Also, I'm not able to forward html emails and keep its original format--everything turns into plain text. i also struggle when trying to copy and paste an email addresses from senders ...

A Great Collaborative e-Mail System

What do you like best? One of the best features of Zimbra is collaboration. You can share your mail folders, contact and task lists, work together on a text file, all that defining what kind of level of share a person can have, from view to full control of it. You also have a great search engine that allow you to search even inside some types of archives (pdf, txt, etc). And in the paid version, you have a working backup system. What do you dislike? The webmail is heavily dependent ...

Full Time Zimbra User

What do you like best? Zimbra has a number of features that are attractive to our business. First and foremost are the persona capabilities; we provide contractors to our clients and the ability to create different personas for each of our contractors, and in turn their ability to switch between them seamlessly is very important to our business. What do you dislike? Generally, I am not a big fan of Zimbra. The UI has an older feel to it, like the old desktop Microsoft Outlook... it ...

Zimbra, an old email client for old people

What do you like best? There isn't much I like about Zimbra, maybe the fact that it will send mail between stores and management, but other than that I have more complaints than anything. The one thing it does right is text formatting in the email client is relatively streamlined, so you don't have to rely on html code or other frustrating tagging. What do you dislike? Zimbra mail is very old and outdated. There are many many better clients that you can use for inter communication ...

Using Zimbra mail client at work

What do you like best? The UI and UX is nice but I'd rather use gmail. What do you dislike? Sometimes you need to refresh the page to see new messages and there is no option for desktop notifications as far as I know. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Nothing as far as I know.

Convenient E Mail

What do you like best? This is a very simple and useful Email client. We use it company wide (30 people) and it is accurate and open source which is always important. What do you dislike? The syncing sometimes seems off. There could be more real-time information. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think as long as it is a smaller company, you could easily use zimbra as your mail client. Especially since it is open source, and technically "free." What ...

A good solution for enterprises with a open source version available

What do you like best? Zimbra have a classic user interface, and have a low learning curve. Is very easy to use zimbra, and the interface is fast and responsible. What do you dislike? The administration panel needs some improvement, per example, mailbox backup, and active directory integration. Another point is mail search feature, is slow and not so good compared to gmail per example. Recommendations to others considering the product: A good collaboration suite, and you ...

One of the best cost benefit option

What do you like best? One of the best cost benefit option to run on premises solution, now a days I can see two big collaboration suites and Zimbra it's one of them, with the paid plug-in option, you can access by mobile devices using activesync that's similar to Microsoft Exchange standard, the web interface is light too, so it's fast to load in poor internet connections. What do you dislike? Poor integration with Microsoft Outlook editors for desktops, in many cases can be ...
