Xero Support is like speaking to a brick wall

I have been using Xero for a few years, I even left a 5* review November last year however it's great until it goes wrong. I have had problems with bank feeds; no transactions are importing. I opened a support ticket 2 weeks ago but each response from Xero is frustrating and I am no closer to a resolution or even acceptance it isn't working!

Xero is one of the worst software experiences that I've ever had. They WILL NOT listen to customer concerns, WILL NOT make obvious or important changes to improve the software and DO NOT care about their customers. Some fundamental flaws:• screen jumps about in all browsers if your invoice, quote, PO is long enough that you need to scroll down the page. Rubbish - makes simple accounting hard work.

I signed up with Xero as I need a MTD compatible package - I've been running my business on a single spreadsheet and (other than receipt entry it takes me around 30 mins a month to reconcile the bank accounts, do VAT returns etc etc - THREE DAYS!!! The worst support ever

The worst support ever, over 5 days to get a response,obviously don't have the resources to look after the customer base, avoid avoidSuch a shame the product is very good

Brilliant support from Dominic! I asked a question not expecting to get an answer that would work and instead I got a super quick reply, which was very easy to understand and follow and even better it worked! It's great that xero recognise that most of it's users are not book keepers or accountants and that we are instead busy people who need quick and helpful support! Well done.PS please give Dominic a lap top sticker and a company car.

As an accounting firm I would be very hesitant to partner with Xero!

As an accounting firm I would be very cautious with using Xero or recommending it to clients. Outside of Xero billing for things that were supposed to be free, which after complaining they claim they will reconcile but I had to threaten with a lawyer to get that reaction. As an accounting firm it is a very risky move to partner with the Xero software platform. Fantastic product and prompt support, particularly by Dominic, who truly grasped the problem and provided an excellent workaround when a particular feature was not available.

MTD with Xero

Xero software is perfect to use as bridging software for MTD. Special thanks to Nabeel there as well who has been a big help in getting me set up.
