Easy to manage accounting

What do you like best? Syncing with various accounts makes it easy to manage for a small business. What do you dislike? Set up could be a little easier for non accountants. Recommendations to others considering the product: Set up everything before you start using. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Great Application

Really poor support

On the whole, the software is good, however the level of support is really poor. Common issues seem to have to be resolved by users helping each other out on the forum and new questions go unanswered for months in some cases.

Brilliant support from Dominic! I asked a question not expecting to get an answer that would work and instead I got a super quick reply, which was very easy to understand and follow and even better it worked! It's great that xero recognise that most of it's users are not book keepers or accountants and that we are instead busy people who need quick and helpful support! MTD issues

MTD has been a challenge this quarter especially when you are not signed up as Agents of the business. In the past, we have never needed to be VAT agents for clients if they file their own VAT returns. With MTD, if you are not set up as agents with HMRC, it is impossible for you to view the next VAT quarter which is becoming a pain when clients have issues.
