Good Introduction

Have given a 4* rating as have not subscribed to a package. Was contacted by Shaq after registering for a free trial to Xero. Starting a new business venture, and although having worked in Finance for many years, I am not a bookkeeper. However, the online learning and webinars suggested to me have been very informative.

Complicated, unclear and expensive

Changing my accountants because they insist I use Xero. They charged me an extra £200 to correct mistakes I'd made that I didn't pick up because of how confusing Xero is. I've used ordinary spreadsheets for years, you can clearly see all information at a glance. With Xero you cannot see an overview, so if there are any mistakes then it takes ages to find, or is too difficult for non accountants. Grieves me that something that is meant to help costs me so much more.

Absolutely Love Xero!

What do you like best? Xero is user friendly and easy to navigate. This program connects with you bank accounts and allows you to reconcile all expenses. What do you dislike? The only thing I do not like is that once you submit an invoice you are NOT able to edit it. You have to delete it and then start over. Extremely patient and helpful...

Habib has been extremely patient and helpful when helping me to learn how to use Xero as I have no accounting experience. He provided very clear instructions and explanation and I would highly recommend him to others.

Does not listen to customers!

Does not listen to customers!Xero hides behind email from people with fancy profiles, who take up to 24 hours to paste in generic responses i.e. that do not answer the question.Rather than simply saying - "You cannot do this. People have been asking for this feature for more than 7 years, so you are wasting your time asking for it" you get generic answers, referring you to various "helpful" articles, and letting you know you can create a feature request.No response on timing. Support is absolutely dreadful

Support is absolutely dreadful. No email contact or phone number, just a merry go round on their web pages. WHY CAN'T I JUST SPEAK TO SOMEONE, OR EVEN EMAIL TO RAISE A TICKET LIKE I USED TO????

I use xero for both my small businesses…

I use xero for both my small businesses and find them perfect for what I need! I’m not an accountant so struggle with the book keeping side of things! And xero makes it easy for me 👍🏻😀

The support and help with initial setup…

The support and help with initial setup from Habib was excellent. I am not a accountant, so I really needed some help to get it right. I'll need some extra help to fine tune, but I'm starting to get to grips with Xero now.
