Xero support is generally pretty helpful. I wish they would develop areas of the application that are lacking though.

Awful, Stay Away at All Costs
This software is horrendously overpriced and many of the features are hidden behind additional paywalls/obstacles to get you to pay even more. e.g. multicurrency is extra, and you cannot file corporation tax through the software. You need to do it through an additional software called Xero tax. You cannot however use Xero tax yourself, you need to become a xero partner, which costs around $500 OR you have to hire one of their partnered accountants for over $1000. Absolutely brilliant people
Lovely staff, great service and all-round really great experience. I'm working with a particular member of staff called Dillon, and he is very helpful and happy to fit his schedule and times around mine as best he can.Would recommend to any person or business who needs easy and friendly accounting software!

Quick to get up and running but limited
It was very quick to get up and running with Xero, for some small businesses it will be ideal. Unfortunately we quickly ran into limitations - reports or features that are missing. Integrations with popular platforms are often via 3rd party plug-ins which incur additional costs and add extra limitations.Also Xero say they are focused on small business but they only have 2 SMB pricing tiers - "5 transactions per month" or unlimited transactionsper month. Habib was a fantastic tutor and guide to getting started in Xero
Habib was fantastic he showed me how to reconcile my opening bank balance (which I had made a mess of) As a startup, it is great to have a helping hand to make sure you get your business financial reporting done in an easy but thorough way.
