The Great Decision

We moved from Quickbooks to Xero 2 years ago and we are so happy! It is more intuitive and user friendly. Also the customer support is really good.

Xero is intuitive and works well for non accounting background operators like us. It has limitations and support can be frustrating when issues occur. But in the round has been good for us, uploading scanned documents has given helped us to move towards paperless archiving.

I'm a small business and I have used Xero for a few years now and love that it is simple to use, saves time and provides me with real time accountancy data. Just started using the projects module and love this for keeping an accurate record of work undertaken for my clients.

Overall I find Xero very easy to use, it is clear and easy to move around in. There is issues around customers not always receiving quotes/invoices and this in turn leads to us repeating the 'job' and resending via our email system. It would also be great to have the tools to alter text i.e. colour, font, bold etc in order to draw a clients eye to more important information.

Xero is a nice and reliable accounts…

Xero is a nice and reliable accounts system.It's still orientated about all the users being familiar with bookkeeping, but I've used it for 9 years now and would choose it again. It has made very small incremental improvements over the years, but the main thing is the easy PDF attachments for bills, and the fact its been 100% reliable with my data.There are plenty of improvements they could make, but when I see my friends battling with their Sage or Quickbooks , I'm very content with Xero

Everything works nicely and functionality is all there. Very happy with the decision to use Xero, just needed to get used to the language.

Terrible

Terrible. Xero has gone backwards the last 3 years and would strongly not recommend anyone using it.1) Xero and the issues with the API integration with the antiquated use of Yodlee. Often bank reconciling credits are show as debits. This has been going on for 3 years. I have mentioned it numerous times. It never gets fixed. Their solution. Just delete and add manually. I have had to do this so many times enough is enough. I get the feeling the will is not there are xero to improve.2) ...
