Perfect solution for those wanting a basic website & plan for the future

What do you like best? Very easy for non technical people to get up and going. Lots of room to move for more technical people, and for those who are able to grow their online business. A basic site can grow into a combination of any: blog, product pamphlet, e-commerce, booking management - you name it, there is a plugin for it What do you dislike? Can be quite confusing and difficult to make plugins, but this depends on the programmer's abilities and preferences. What business ...

Simple interface for ease of use when blogging & following blogs

What do you like best? The interface looks and acts like a standard word processor, making it easy to convey information and include links, images, and other media. Sharing to social media is streamlined and convenient, and the dashboard shows where viewers have clicked through from. What do you dislike? Uploading media to the platform is clunky and hard to do from mobile. Recommendations to others considering the product WordPress is an easy and convenient way to publish content ...

Easy to Navigate for Beginners to Publishing

What do you like best? I like that Word Press is both easy to use and easy to personalize. If you know HTML, you can easily change the site to appear however you want. Or, you can use a template if you have no design experience. The dashboard is easy to navigate, making it a great platform for beginner publishers to easily type, format and publish posts to their website. What do you dislike? I wish it had more in-depth options for monitoring analytics. There is a site stat section ...

Great for client projects

What do you like best? What I really like about Wordpress is that it makes it easy to hand off a site to a client - the straightforward UI gets them right into their content and makes questions they may have easy and fast to answer. What do you dislike? The content editor can make text formatting tough and sometimes not stick. Also the lack of consistency between interaction with templates and the Wordpress UI makes every new template more of a learning experience than I feel it should ...

WordPress Review

What do you like best? Ease of use and a great community. There are so many options to give your site customizations. What do you dislike? A bit of a learning curve. At first there are many things to learn, and occasionally I run into issues that I can't solve quickly without doing a lot of research, but the longer I use it, the more I know how to solve recurring issues quickly. I also utilize a personal database of common issues for quick reference. Recommendations to others ...

WordPress.org Review

What do you like best? I can install my own theme and customize it. I have access to many free themes and I can modify, or do anything I want to the site. In addition, I have the ability to install plug-ins like jetpack. I can install google analytics to get insights. What do you dislike? Unlike wordpress.com, auto backup facility is not included. I don't like the fact that I am responsible for my own updates and backups. It is not free and I have to pay for web hosting and domain ...

Great for everyone

What do you like best? Wordpress is great for people who know how to code, but has several accessible templates for those who don't. There is tons of documentation all over the web, so help is only a click away at any time. What do you dislike? Some things are not as user-friendly or intuitive as I would like and I find myself researching things more than I would like to, but all in all not bad. Plus updating WordPress causing too many error and breaks at times. What business ...

Wordpress has been wonderful

What do you like best? One of my favorite things about WordPress is how easy it is to use (for a young, spry post college student. It's a popular website that many people know about, so having knowledge of it and how to use also looks great at job interviews. What do you dislike? I guess the ONLY thing I can think of to say is I wish it was a little "prettier". It's already super aesthetic, but maybe make it a little more "young" (or maybe give the user the preference on how it looks ...

Frequently Using Wordpress

What do you like best? It's pretty straightforward, and enough people use it that any questions can get answered through a quick Google search. Also, it's free. What do you dislike? Sometimes it loses my writing posts. It also can't seem to handle that I run multiple websites. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows me to reach a wider reader audience than other blog platforms. By using the product, I can build up a ...
