Great for Small Businesses, but Difficult to Use

What do you like best? WordPress offers versatile tools for website management and allows its users to customize their site extensively. What do you dislike? WordPress is increasingly difficult to use for smaller businesses. Not all businesses have a website development team, and so regular employees must take on this role. WordPress makes that difficult with their lack of transparency and difficult-to-navigate website. Recommendations to others considering the product Consider the ...

Basic blog host

What do you like best? It's a free site, which serves its purpose. Allows nice organization of pages and the process to upload and insert images is pretty straightforward. What do you dislike? I find WordPress harder to customize than other sites. Anytime I want to change something on my site, I have to spend a lot of time trying to find out what the name of the thing I want to change is, let alone actually customizing it. Recommendations to others considering the product Be ...

Love it.

What do you like best? Everything. Amazingly empowering. So many possibilities and such ease of use. Love it for our own use and for our clients. What do you dislike? The standard interface has still too many options and routes to find all the settings and different pages. A lot of that of course can be customised but it would be interesting to find ways to make it easier to focus user's attention to just the bits they are using. Maybe a drag and drop or so. Recommendations to others ...

Simple, for the most part

What do you like best? The infinite amount of themes available out there is outstanding. The free themes are great, and premium/paid themes are even better (when you've done your research on the developer first. The platform is pretty much capable of doing anything. If you're a beginner, you can figure out a simple theme and get your site running in a day. If you feel in over your head, there are always developers for hire locally or online who know exactly how to help you. I've built a ...

Wordpress for Digital Trends

What do you like best? I like that the website is easy to use through the backend and flexibility of changing the layout, etc. of our website without restriction. What do you dislike? The search bar in the backend can be annoying in that it doesn't always pull up what I'm looking for; even if I look up an article word by word. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are a digital media publication. Our business is on this website. ...

Best open source CMS available, hands down.

What do you like best? The backend admin is simple enough almost any client can understand. It's easy to work with at any level from a developer standpoint. The community around it is fantastic, there is always someone willing to help. It's powerful enough to use for almost any web project. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike about WordPress, WordCamp or the community behind it. Recommendations to others considering the product Do it, you won't be sorry. It's a ...

Cost-Effective and Customizable

What do you like best? The flexibility to purchase templates elsewhere and then customize them to fit my needs. There are so many available templates and updating my website is as simple as purchasing a new template and installing it--the content can stay the same. What do you dislike? The interface not always user-friendly; sometimes I spend a lot of time trying to figure out exactly where to find the feature I need. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Cool features but hard to navigate and set up.

What do you like best? The website lets you customize your own website or blog, making yourself or organization more marketable and individualized. What do you dislike? Website could be more user friendly. I am still not sure how to set up my website the way I want to. It would be better if there were some kind of tutorial to walk you through the basics step by step at the beginning. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are inexperienced in web design, have ...

A nice user interface

What do you like best? I like the ease of posting and drafting blogs for our multiple websites. I also like the ability to post tags and edit the search engine titles for things. What do you dislike? I dislike when the program doesn't work correctly and deletes some drafts of some users. It's frustrating to redo work that's already been done. Recommendations to others considering the product I would be sure to look at other platforms and decide if wordpress it the best for your ...

I lIke that we have plety of template to choose from or go with a customization route. What do you dislike? 9/10 when it doesnt allow customization in some features.
