Love it

What do you like best? I like that WordPress makes uploading pages, images, and blog posts easy. There's enough day-to-day wrestle when it comes to running and maintaining a business. It's nice to know that maintaining the web presence is really easy! What do you dislike? This isn't really an issue with WordPress, but I wish I knew more about development and plug-ins. I struggle with those a bit, especially if I can't get something to align properly. I also have some issues with ...

Easy to use and Easy to teach!

What do you like best? I love Wordpress' format and its many themes. Its easy to use and update and and easy platform to teach others ( if they do not wish to delegate it to someone else. I love how it has both an html option if you wish to code directly and a Screen view through cornerstone so you can design a layout exactly as you wish. Updates are easy to do. What do you dislike? Sometimes there is a bit of a lag when doing updates with can be a little cumbersome when you have many ...

Easy, Fun, and a little frustrating

What do you like best? I love the customization features that make it super easy to manage a blog or a company website. So many color options. Also I combined with a website development firm that showed us a little more higher level customization that made it easy. What do you dislike? To navigate the site at first is daunting and quite frankly really frustrating. plug ins, picture formating and widget navigation could be cleaner but overall if you have any experience with computers ...

WordPress for Website Design

What do you like best? I am a freelance writer that contributes to my website using WordPress. I love the program is very easy to use and allows me the ability to write in code to fix minor things here and there. The design is to the point and the option to write "distraction free" is a great idea. What do you dislike? The functionality is great, only suggestion would be to add some more color to make the whole thing more personable. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Easy, Pre-Fab Word Processing

What do you like best? WordPress is a relatively simple and straight-to-the-point word processing system that allows for user customization and back-end website management. What do you dislike? While WordPress is obviously easier than say using DreamWeaver to create a site from scratch, there is still a definite learning curve, and it is more complex than some other word processing/website platforms. Recommendations to others considering the product WordPress is a good, strong ...

Complex experience for beginners

What do you like best? I like that with wordpress creating a blog or a short site for your business is so easy. No matter where you hold your work at their free wordpress.com or your own server/domain mix just by a few clicks one can create personalized place of their own. Although not all themes are usable most of them are quite ready from the start. What do you dislike? Lack of tutorials for beginners is a bit annoying. A lot can be found in many forms so it's not that big of a ...

A Powerful Tool but Lacks Communication and Support

What do you like best? There is no question that wordpress makes it easy for lay people to create unique and advanced website designs. What do you dislike? Wordpress.org and wordpress.com lack communication about what their tools offer and, after some trial and error and in depth searching, other cheaper tools offer very similar services and avoid the wordpress hosting issues. Recommendations to others considering the product If you want to do anything more than basic blogging ...

WordPress is difficult for people who are not web savvy.

What do you like best? My favorite thing about WordPress is that there is so much potential variety and so many different types of websites that you can create. What do you dislike? What I dislike about WordPress is that it is unnecessarily complicated. You have to access your site through the back end in order to make any changes and some things seem very limited. Recommendations to others considering the product Before choosing WordPress, be sure you have a good understanding of ...

User friendly, but sometimes glitchy.

What do you like best? Clean, organized layouts available for all users and easy to manipulate. Easy to insert links, photos, and to automatically post updates to linked social media pages. The blog function is good. What do you dislike? The admin page is awkward to navigate, as well as navigating between multiple websites if you run more than one via wordpress. I don't like that I would have to pay extra for certain add-ons or widgets, and there should be more free website designs. ...
