Fantastic CMS
What do you like best? Wordpress has always been easy to use while still having enough power to adjust nearly everything your website needs. What do you dislike? Some things are not as cut and dry as they could be. I recently tried to start a website for a friend and the layout was completely different from the one I've been using for the past two - three years. I know that updates happen, but a complete overhaul of the layout meant that it took me a good day or so to re-familiarize ...

When coded the right way with a theme it is very user friendly
What do you like best? User Friendly and results are instantaneous from writing blogs to adding advertisements to your site. More intuitive then Drupal and other CMS sites. What do you dislike? You need to make sure that plug-ins for your widgets are up to date and if you were to try to code templates on your own there is definitely a learning curve and a need to understand PHP language. Recommendations to others considering the product Go with a company who knows your industry and ...

Word press is great overall, but somewhat difficult to use
What do you like best? I love how user friendly wordpress.org is overall. It is a great website for those who don't necessarily know how to code. It is great for those who want to build a personal website for free or for a business/project that wants to pay for the url name and have a more official webpage. I have seen so many companies and varieties of wordpress pages, including the one I developed for a study I am working on now. You can do so much and so easily. What do you dislike? ...

Wordpress Steps Up From Geocities
What do you like best? As mentioned previously I enjoy the ease of layout designs (reminiscent of the days of Geocities, and I like that the help center is very direct with simple solutions What do you dislike? It's a bit bulky and dated, and the widgets aren't very regulated so there are very many unnecessary ones. Oftentimes I find myself having (unnecessary problems with the HTML box (ex: forcing a video to be centered on a page. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Fantastic, but it requires learning!
What do you like best? I love the flexiblity of wordpress and the easy dashboard. It's easy to write posts, maintain your site, make your site responsive, and make sure you are SEO optimized! What do you dislike? Some things take time to learn. Lots of time. Customizing my wordpress template took awhile. I struggled once with a contact form and had to get professional help. But it was worth it! Recommendations to others considering the product If you're a solo-entrepreneur able to ...

Basic Variety for Your Budget Conscious Endevours
What do you like best? Easily what I liked best about Word Press was it's options. With a little garden variety know how in coding and tech you could piece together an easily managed and presentable website/blog. As an aspiring artist without much income this was a critical balance and if you need something you can put together quickly and manage easily that still looks professional this is definitely the site to use. The added bonuses of having built activity trackers in your dashboard ...

Excellent platform for student blog
What do you like best? I love WordPress's scheduling and editing features. It really allowed us to be able to plan content for BC Law Impact and make sure everything was uniform. What do you dislike? It has formatting issues at times that can't really be resolved, particularly when one uses photos in line with text. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? WordPress allowed us to receive greater traffic to BC Law Impact and to ...

Wordpress.org is fairly difficult to use and I consider myself pretty tech savvy.
What do you like best? It was great being able to custom anything and everything. What do you dislike? Not very "user friendly" difficult to navigate and customize. I would upload a picture and it would upload goofy and I felt like there was just a lot of extra steps to do something fairly simple. Recommendations to others considering the product I think Wordpress.org is a great customizable website, but I also felt like it was fairly painful to do "simple" things on it. I had to ...
