First Time User of Wordpress.org
What do you like best? I like that there is someone available for support if needed. It's also relatively simple enough to get up and running with minimal coding knowledge. What do you dislike? When I had a blog with wordpress.com I was able to sign into my app to see the information on my blog. Since I don't have this access now that I'm using .org, it's more difficult to get information on my blog when I'm on my cell phone. Recommendations to others considering the product Don't ...

Free and Easy Blogging!
What do you like best? I love that I can have a free blog at wordpress, and write about my experiences in the classroom. I can show off student work, and collect feedback easily. What do you dislike? I don't really love the long URL, but I'm not willing to pay to have a shorter one. Recommendations to others considering the product Check it out for sure, and if it doesn't meet your needs, consider paying for something more elaborate. What business problems are you solving with ...

A versatile and powerful CMS
What do you like best? It is open source, self-hosted, versatile, scalable and reliable. What do you dislike? Because of its popularity, it is a well known target for cyber-attacks. Recommendations to others considering the product Just try it and like it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This is the standard solution to build and develop a proper website solution for a corporation. One of the advantages is the huge ...

Easy to use, free, open-source, and SEO friendly
What do you like best? Wordpress is a great platform for people who aren't necessarily web designers or programmers! Gone are the days when I need to send the most basic text changes to our designer or even have our designer add new pages or blog posts for me. I can make the edits myself, whenever I want. Times are tight and managing my own text, photos, and video for our website is a great way to contribute to saving costs. I also very much appreciate that it's free, and open-source, ...

Great platform with options
What do you like best? The development for this platform has led to a feature-rich ecosystem with available plugins. The community support is robust and the interface is user friendly. What do you dislike? Customizing requires research and for a lot of people it can be daunting, depending on their technical aptitude. It forces a reliance on templates and plugins even though Wordpress continues to improve the native platform. What business problems are you solving with the product? ...

Ease of Use is totally worth it
What do you like best? Wordpress has so much versatility and is incredibly easy to use. I think Wordpress should be seen as the first point of trial for any web dev and CMS needs. What do you dislike? There may be too many options. Trying to sort through all of the templates can be a bit tedious and definitely time-consuming. Recommendations to others considering the product I would strongly suggest using WordPress because of it's reach and availability of support and amount of ...

Wonderful Program for the Beginner
What do you like best? I absolutely love WordPress. Blog function is very easy to use, especially for beginners. Some other programs require lengthy codes, but everything links, photos, etc can be inserted with ease. The site is also mobile friendly. If you are wanting to build your own personal site and business, WordPress is the way to go! What do you dislike? Honestly, there is not much to say about what I dislike because the program is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. If ...

WordPress is the worlds most used CMS for a reason
What do you like best? WordPress is highly customizable directly out of the box. Within seconds of deployment you can immediately start publishing or importing content from a previous source. 3rd party support means iterating on design and features is as simple as clicking a checkbox from the built in plugin directory. What do you dislike? WordPress is open source to a fault at times. If you are not sure what plugins or themes you are looking for, you can easily spend a lot of time ...

What do you like best? I like the fact that is very easy to learn and very easy to manage once the website is complete. It is very flexible and you can do any design you want. What do you dislike? Powerful tool for users of all expertise levels
What do you like best? I love how ubiquitous WordPress is, so I've been able to use it in many capacities. There are very handy tools for developing very complex and sophisticated-looking websites, but the basic WordPress features are easy to use for people new to web design, but also easy to customize by those who feel comfortable. I like that it's free, although some add-ons and extensions do cost a bit. What do you dislike? At this time I don't have any complaints. Recommendations ...
