Decent content management system.

What do you like best? Has a rich library of APIs and lots of functionality to choose from. Quite easy to use compared to other content management systems with a large community of developers meaning that help is never too far away. What do you dislike? Some plugins are not as efficient as other and can result in a slow down of the site. Some plugins may stop working after the frequent updates that are received. Recommendations to others considering the product The advantages are ...

Content Manager

What do you like best? The compatibility with other programs and accessibility of plugins What do you dislike? I honestly haven't encountered anything that I really dislike. Recommendations to others considering the product When using the program, you will find tools that will make your job easier. In addition, the plugins that are available can make the presentation of your business easier to manage. I especially enjoy using the DiviBuilder plugin, as it allows even individuals ...

WordPress Review

What do you like best? I like how shallow the learning curve is for WordPress. Anyone can get started and make something that is presentable. In addition to using it for work at the office, I also used this product for developing my master's degree portfolio where work was displayed for my dissertation committee's review. It was great to have a program that was malleable to suit various needs. What do you dislike? I am challenged by the ability for commercial licenses to disable ...

Having Complete Control

What do you like best? I like that I can customize the site exactly how I would like it to be. I'm not a tech genius, but I'm comfortable, and I'm able to create pretty unlimited solutions with Wordpress What do you dislike? When I've used Wordpress for clients that have employed third-party designed sites, there have inevitably been nightmare situations created by bugs showing up, causing major problems that only the original developer can resolve, if the developer can be found. What ...

Does what you need it to do

What do you like best? This is probably the easiest platform to use to create your own site. Not much has changed in the CMS over the years so the UI is intuitive to use and doesn't take much getting used to. What do you dislike? There isn't much I dislike about WP. It's so universally known and has such active communities, you can always find answers to questions you may have. One thing may be the built-in functionalities of the CMS. While there are plenty to get you started, you need ...

It's eh, ok

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to use, but do wish it were simplified to link my other social media accounts to WP. I also wish there were more connect-ability options. I over all am happy using it professionally, but I use the app more often then the desk top site because the app is much more efficient to use. What do you dislike? I dislike the desk top version. I also dislike how I cannot link other social media accounts to it. I am not tech savy and feel that they ...

Publication

What do you like best? The ease of working with html code without having to consult hundreds of Youtube video. Going into Wordpress I did not know much about posting content with html code, but now I feel like I can do it with my eyes closed. What do you dislike? Sometimes the site did not respond and caused me to lose my work. It would be much better if the autosave function was able to be customized to save on a more rapid interval. I didn't like the gallery function within ...

Wordpress.org is one of the best platforms for hosting a website. Highly recommend!

What do you like best? Wordpress provides user-friendly features so that once a website has been developed, almost anyone can maintain it. As a non-profit organization, we often have volunteers who help maintain different elements of our website. Having a platform to host our website that is both customizable and user-friendly is a big plus for us. What do you dislike? There aren't quite as many good plug-ins as I would like. Although this reflects partly on our own website designers, ...

Teacher use

What do you like best? With Word Press, I've designed a free blog for students to participate in out-of-class, productive conversation, which is EXTREMELY easy to track. What do you dislike? With only the basic (free options, there are certain features that are not easy to naviagte, such as uploads and publishing.
