Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Wix's strength lies in its drag-and-drop editor and design flexibility. Before committing, verify that the template library meets your aesthetic needs—some users find the default designs dated compared to competitors like Squarespace. Test the editor's responsiveness on mobile during your demo, as rendering can lag with complex layouts. Check whether your ...Read more

DO NOT USE WIX!!

DO NOT USE WIX!!! Not only is it not user-friendly. But even if you realize how terrible they are and move your domain, they will continue to charge you $150+ every year and REFUSE to refund you.

are you ready to pull you f'ing hair out? do you have clients that need their website by next monday? well good f'ing luck you sorry sad prat. watch as your template goes into shock, and those all important pictures become swayed and distorted for no apparent reason every time you sign in. Think very carefully before using.

My wife decides she wants a website for her new business so we went with WIX. It took me roughly 2 days to play around with the template, import all the info and photos and get it to a point that we were happy with. At that point, we then decided to upgrade to combo package and get her own unique domain name. We are now 4 days into the 14 day trial and we still cant publish the website. I've requested a call back on 3 occasions, and whilst they are excellent at calling back, they are ...

Don’t waste your money or time!

I’ve been having an intermittent issue with my site not being accessible. It appears to be dependant on whether you’re on 4G or wifi. I rely on my site for a booking system for a barbershop and this is of course imperative at the moment with covid. I contacted Wix about this issue and their response was to make sure my customers have an iPhone 6 or newer. It was template email and as a someone who works in IT software I frankly find it quite disgusting. This is a ridiculous ask, Wix should ...

Just all round pretty poor

just all round pretty poor. most functions don't actually work, even after contacting their inept customer services about the issue. If you're looking to make a professional website, just use shopify. I learned the hard way lol

I do a compare and contrast with other providers like GoDaddy who are so easy to contact and who seem to take a genuine interest in solving a problem. Try to get to 'support' for Wix and you get endless links and bounce arounds, almost like they have a wall of PDFs so you give up trying to contact them.

The worst company you'll ever encounter

AVOID WIX, THEY TRULY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER! Wix currently hold over £1200 of the businesses money. The items have already been sent out to the customer, yet Wix refuse to pay out. They also without any warning switched off our payments facility with no reasoning or notification so the business was unable to trade.Since then all they continue to do is request document after document and you will be lucky to hear back from them. And the documents they are ...

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOIDI have only given 1 star because there is no option to give no stars. We began set up of a Wix e-commerce platform late August. Lots of needless time wasting as they kept asking for additional information which was never made clear they would need from the outset. Our account was eventually verified on 14 sept. It took another 11 days before any money was transferred to us, and since then no money has been sent. Wix are now claiming that they need further evidence about ...
