Ive been using wix for a few years now…

Ive been using wix for a few years now and I would say over the years my experiences have just gotten worse. The latest was the update of the mailboxes. We order them on a year cycle and by time we had to renew the mailboxes we wanted to remove some due to people departing the company we were told we can do this until we pay for the mail boxes again. We we would have to pay a year up front for mailboxes we werent going to use the then have access to all our other mailboxes. This seems ...

Wish I could give 0 Stars

I don't even know where to start. I never write reviews but this company has driven me to that points. It's really sad. They could care less about you as one of their customers. I've been dealing with an issue that was their mistakes for over 2 months now and all they do is say "we'll escalate this case for you" and then nothing happens. I wait a week and never get a response. I call and just get transferred 50 times to be told the same thing each and every time. NOW THEY HAVE EVEN MADE UP ...

Great Design Features, Poor Support & Ecommerce

Quick and easily to set up a simple, attractive website using the Wix design features and templates. However, taking the next step with e-commerce was a big let-down. Very poor 1st level support and very very slow, response from ‘developers’ when faults identified or features suggested. Problems with the Wix payment system has left me without the facility to take payments via my website for over two weeks (and counting), which is costing me orders and makes my business look unprofessional. ...

Only A Good Deal For First Year

Wix is pretty good. I don’t know anything about building a website and made out ok starting from scratch. My biggest problem has been cost. It’s great the first year because you get a bunch of discounts, but expect to pay more than double when billing comes back around. More than double for domain. More than double for the site.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. I've sent numerous requests and get replies that someone has called when no one has called at all. These are lies and meanwhile, my site continues to be down. They are quick to take your money but not quick to provide support. Next step is to report to BBB.

BEWARE of duplicate payments

Payouts being held for verification

It seems to be a common complaint “payouts being held for verification”. When we step up our website we did received 4 weeks of payouts. However, when things started going well and our sales increased we got a notice that “Payout were being held for verification” ?!?! The day I received the email I responded back with the information requested, our guidelines and procedures, our certifications, and a description of services.
