WIX Could Not Be Worse

I have had such a bad experience with Wix "Accept Payments" that I am going to change website platforms. They took my clients money, sat on it for over a month, were impossible to reach on the phone and basically refused to refund it until I threatened to call the FBI. STAY AWAY FROM WIX

Absolute theft! Wix Payments is nothing short of a scam. I set up my website and activated wix payments in May/June 2020. I used Wix Payments to sell an item and get paid in October 2020. Upon successful receipt of the payment I delivered the item to the customer but it's been a month and Wix wont payout claiming they're verifying my account. Wix Payments is a SCAM!

Like many others WIX has given us the run around to verify our account for almost TWO months! They have almost 20k of our money! Every time we submit something they ask for they come up with something else! It’s been an ongoing headache to speak with someone, customer service is a JOKE! There are mysterious departments that are supposed to handle these things but they don’t! BEWARE! We are facing eviction, our customers have our products but WIX has our money! There seems to be no way out!

Wix upgrade broke my website

Wix required that I upgrade to their new blog editor. Doing so broke all the links between my blog posts and my website. The only fix was for me to rebuild it all. Total unnecessarily wasted time would be 3-4 hours. Wix would not provide any monetary credit for my time, even though their services are very expensive. I'm moving to a competitor!!
