I'm giving it 2 star because it is the more easier to use, affordable web hosting sites for my business. I have used other platforms for other reasons, however, for me the fact bookings can be made through Wix is what sold me. Now onto the headache. Bordering on not fit for purpose

Wix is supposed to provide great value for money and a world class service. To be completely objective, the concept behind an intuitive website builder is great. All those ready to work with tools ect. The problem is the execution of it, quality and customer service. Do not use Wix.com!

Poor customer service. No call back when promised. Tried to cancel / close site- no way to contact direct- now taken unauthorised payments from account again requested call back, tried emails- no response for a website platform shame wix havent got a decent website of their own! Shocking service, waste of money- basically a sham site definitely do not recommend using WIX

Massive Email Issues

Awful Company! Despite paying for a G Suite Email through Wix, they have imposed an email sending limit of 100 EMAILS PER DAY. G Suite should be 2000. Been on the phone to them for hours trying to move my license away from Wix and over to Google, needed to be put through to the "Advanced Team' yet I was put on hold for an hour, THEN CUT OFF. STAY AWAY FROM WIX, WORST WEB COMPANY OUT THERE.

This company is pure rotten garbage. If you're just looking for some crappy site where you can direct people through a link to get your email or phone number, maybe a bio - then this is fine. If you have an actual BUSINESS you're going to end up bankrupt or at the end of a rope from frustration. They have carefully omitted important things like EMAIL and an AVI PICTURE from their business accounts to screw you over and make you pay more! I will NEVER use wix.com again. I have been waiting 2 weeks to receive the funds raised on the site into my bank account. At this point, I have already written a check for the products and now I am out over $2,000. I am a student and I don't have $2,000 to spare. DO NOT USE WIX!!!!!!

incrediblty poor response to security problem

I have previously been using log in via google but prefer the latest 2 stage authentication via an actual Wix account name. Enable 2 stage verification and disabled "Log in via social media" ( google ). But, I was surprised to find I could still access my account by selecting log in via google. Wait 20 days to determine refund?!

You have to wait 20 days to determine if you are eligible for a refund on renewals. They push renewals through your credit card even if you delete the card from your account. Difficult to get a hold of customer service, I just don't trust the company. Would never do business with them again.

I have wix for three websites, so 3 times the headache... yet it is rated highest, and I think it's better than squarespace. In my view, one is failing the other is barely passing.
